A great place to stay for a short visit to Gdansk

    rating05 May 2021

The owner was very welcoming and helfpul in providing advice on what to see and where to go first. He also recommended nearby restaurants. The location is great - just a short stroll to the river where you can catch a ferry to Westerplatte or walk to the long market street. If you have rolling suitcases I suggest you take a taxi from the train station as the route from the station to the hotel is mostly cobbles. The room is very clean and comfortable. We stayed on the first floor in late summer and we did experience some noise from people walking on the street late at night - but this is common in all city centers, especially when you sleep with the window open. The breakfast was exceptionally generous and delicious, I would definitely return!

    Very good accomodation

We were introduced to the hotel by really nice guy, he helped us with our luggage and gave us "what to see in in Gdansk" tips. He even gave us a heater because we were kinda cold. Hotel is very pleasant for the price. I highly recommend.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful city

    rating27 Aug 2019

Fantastic stay from start to finish. We were greeted warmly by Jack who was really helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is about a 15 minute stroll from the bus stop (bus no 210) from the airport to the main train station which costs just a few Zlots. On the way back Jack ordered us a taxi as it was really hot so we didn't want to walk in 31C heat and then go on the bus.We had a lovely room which was quiet and cleaned every day and breakfast was a really good spread of Polish produce. It's a five minute walk into the main city centre and there are lots of bars and restaurants within stumbling distance of the hotel. Lots of money has been spent on refurbishing Gdansk in recent years and the locals are justifiably proud of their beautiful city.Thoroughly recommended!

    Very enjoyable stay

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Location is perfect .The room was clean and had everything we needed, except for milk for the tea and coffee provided .However Jack on reception, went out of his way to remedy that and gave us milk from the kitchen. The breakfast was exceptional especially the perfect scrambled eggs!A big thank you to the staff especially Jack , who tirelessly answered our questions and gave us so much information about transport ,attractions etc - a very friendly man .We recommend both the war museum and Solidarity museum ,both amazing .Finally ,we got an Uber back to the airport and it was only £6-7 and picked us up right outside the hotel .

    Positive surprise

Excellent location, clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff........what more can you expect from a hotel? I see that people complain about the wi-fi but it worked just fine, at least on first and second floors. I can recomend this hotel to anybody visiting this lovely city. Very satisfied.😀
