  Arrived at 315 pm for check in, which starts at 3. Line out the door of the lobby. We are all told there are no clean rooms for anyone to be allowed to check in. My husband and I were in town for a concert. We had dinner reservations. Waited an hout, still no rooms available. At this point we were due for our dinner reservation which only allowed a 15 minute grace period. I asked both attendants could i just check in if I didnt need access to the room until later- they said no. I asked could we check in after the concert and they both assured me yes this would be no issue. I had booked 2 months in advance and had already paid 3 times the regular room rate ( thank you event surge pricing). So we go on to dinner and the concert to get back to the hotel at midnight and be told THEY HAD NO ROOM FOR US. At literal midnight, 2.5 hours from home, wr had been drinking so couldnt drive and there were litetally 97,000 people in town for this concert, so no where with any vacancies. I was beside myself and the man was literally who I talked to before dinner who assured me there would be no issue, and was literally just like "sorry". We had to sleep in our car. NEVER AGAIN Red Roof Inn and I will tell this story to anyone I ever talk to about travel. ZERO STARS literally sold our booked room and left us stranded. This was supposed to be a bucket list experience and was completely ruined by this total excuse of an establishment. You should be ashamed of yourselves.   Quick overnight stay for a concert

  It was a nice overnight. Bathroom is too small And the coffee lids were too small for the cups provided but the king size bed was phenomenal in comfort. The pillows were also perfect comfort but they only provided 3 pillows for 2 people. I like extra pillows for body pillows but I guess that’s just nit picking. The price was really good compared to other places for a quick overnight stay. Overall I would recommend if you’re looking to save money.   Gap at bottom of the door, was freezing. There were pubes in the shower and stains on the sheets. Was not as clean as it should’ve been.   This was a top notch stay, and this is why…

  Was traveling back home to Indiana from Niagara Falls and decided to do an overnight in Columbus Ohio. I found this Red Roof Inn to have far better rates than other hotels in the immediate area. Book the room online in my truck en route. Upon arrival the Front desk employee was extremely welcoming and got us checked in quickly. I can honestly say that on our eight day trip Abd staying in seven different hotels this Res Roof Inn room was the most modern and clean room. They must have just done a remodel on the property because even when looking for something in the room to be below standard I could not find fault. The ONLY complaint I can make and it was not the hotels fault, but being this is an outdoor entry property we had the folks staying in the room next to us outside at six a.m. smoking and talking and you could hear every word of their conversation. Not exactly how you want to become up after traveling 10 hours in a truck. Other than that, this was an excellent hotel, esp for the price. Highly recommend.   Don't book if you're a woman traveling alone

  DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN TRAVELING ALONE. My wife stayed here and after getting in and taking her night time meds, the front desk called the room phone to ask her on a date. While some may see this as benign, this is a woman traveling alone somewhere she doesn't know, unable to drive anywhere else and now has the knowledge that someone with key access to her room has an interest in her. We have no idea who this guy is and it's wholly inappropriate to use company resources for this purpose.After reporting to corporate and requesting a refund, the manager confirmed they were processing the refund. After receiving the confirmation email, we found they actually refunded HALF the charge. My wife would have been just as safe sleeping in her car on the side of the road. We've still not heard back from corporate on a resolution and a partial refund is an absolute slap in the face.In summary, women should be allowed to exist in places without being subjected to this type of thing. This was a business trip and it was ruined because she couldn't sleep. I stayed on the phone with her all night to make sure there were no suspicious noises at the door, so I also didn't get sleep. So we basically received -1 hotel room.The room had a smell. For the price we didn't expect the Ritz. But the whole point of a hotel room is to feel safe while you sleep in a strange place. Do better.So far, Algotels has also been unhelpful in providing a resolution.
