    No f**ks given for guests

One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever experienced. We booked this hotel through easyjet holidays. We arrived at 11.30am & could not check in until 3pm. No effort was made to have the room ready before this time. Disappointing after being up from 2am. As a married couple we were disappointed to be told that they only had a twin room for us and had to put the two single beds together but gave us 2 single duvets. The room was clean but lacked any character. Cheap decor. Oversized bedside lamps made from books on small cheap bedside drawers. Wallpaper tatty. No full length mirror in room only small bathroom mirror. There was a small balcony however there was a gap on the balcony door when fully closed & whilst this didn't effect the heat of the room it was a bit of a problem when they were having work going on outside our room until 11pm every night! Then to top it off we had to check out at 10am! Our flight home wasnt until 10pm at night. The location was good. Within walking distance to market square & surrounded by great places to eat. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. And I would definitely not go back. Aparthotel Vicini ex Oberża Mieszko Ledwos, General Manager at Aparthotel Vicini ex.Oberza, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We would like to kindly clarify that our standard check-in time of 3:00 PM aligns with common hospitality practices worldwide. Our check-out time of 10:00 AM is in place to ensure smooth operations and preparation for arriving guests but it allows our housekeeping team sufficient time to prepare rooms to the highest standard for incoming guests. In such cases, we are always happy to assist with luggage storage and advise on available options. We fully understand how early travel can be tiring, and we regret that we were unable to accommodate an earlier check-in on your occasion.Regarding the room configuration, if we had received prior information about your preferred bed setup, we would have certainly made every effort to arrange this accordingly. As the reservation was made via a travel agency and we did not receive any such request either from the agency or directly from you, we unfortunately had no way of knowing your preference in advance, and availability can be limited without prior notice. Please note that each of our rooms is individually designed and decorated to offer a unique character and experience. This concept is an intentional part of our property, and while we understand that it may not suit every taste, it is something we are proud of and do not plan to change. We are sorry to hear about the disturbance caused by the works outside your room. Kindly note that these were not commissioned by our hotel and were beyond our control. As our aparthotel is located in the very centre of Cracow, occasional noise can occur. For our guests’ comfort, we provide earplugs upon request. We do appreciate your positive note regarding our location, and we are glad you were able to enjoy the surrounding area.

Gorgeous little hotel. Very cute. Decor is very vintage/royal style which is what attracted me to book. To start with, check in is only 3pm-6pm. We arrived at around 10pm but hotel had contacted us prior to send us a link to an app for a Bluetooth check in. Simple enough. There isn’t a lift that we noticed, so bear this in mind. We were on the first floor so wasn’t really an issue. Our room was lovely. Simple but elegant. Big enough bed, working tv and air con. Good water pressure in the shower and big mirror over sink. Only issue we had with the room was the pillows are very thin, and you have 1 each. There was also only 1 plug socket we could find, meaning we had to take turns charging our phones which wasn’t ideal, but other than them 2 issues, room was perfect for us. Location: The hotel itself had a Michelin star restaurant inside it, which we could absolutely lovely and decent priced considering. It also had 3 seat areas, some downstairs, some in hotel, some in a conservatory next door. The hotel is about 20 mins walk to the main square, we never needed transport to the square :)Noise: we didn’t actually experience any loud noises from the street so couldn’t complain. Staff:Staff were lovely, always greeted us when we saw them and made sure to help us when needed. Didn’t fly home til 9pm. It had to check out early than midday so staff stored our luggage for us. Extra: there was also a lovely balcony on the first floor with 3 tables, overlooking greenery and the restaurant conservatory below. This was a lovely little balcony also sheltered. Only went on there once but got proposed to on there and it was beautiful!!!Overall I’d definitely recommend oberza. For the price you pay I’d say it’s worth it :)Thank you for a lovely stay Aparthotel Oberza Oberża Sąsiadów Mieszko Ledwos, General Manager at Aparthotel Vicini ex.Oberza, responded to this review Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review. Nice stay

The hotel and the rooms are spotless. The staff is pleasant especially a girl serving the breakfast. The room was a bit disappointing as we didn’t even get Juliet’s balcony just a window that is hard to open. You get a card for the shared balcony but it’s a bit pointless if it isn’t next to your room. The hotel is in a brilliant location and that was the main reason for choosing it. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed our cleanliness, staff service, and central location. We’re sorry the room layout didn’t fully meet your expectations and appreciate your comments regarding the balcony. Your input helps us improve, and we hope to welcome you back for an even better experience next time.

    Located in a Great Area

The setting for this hotel is good as it is right in the midst of the Old Jewish Quarter so full of history and atmospheric buildings. the building itself is very old with an amazing squared staircase (no lift so had to carry cases upstairs) over all three floors. The reception staff were very helpful. Our room was very small and looked nothing like the picture shown against this listing but it was atmospheric and clean. The restaurant downstairs is a separate entity to the hotel but can be accessed via the hotel and serves a good range of traditional Polish foods.
