  We had a handicap room and it was nice and clean. We liked that it had a freezer at the top of the frig. We also had great TV reception - we got to watch one of the MLB playoff games. Another thing we had plenty of electric outlets for recharging things. The only bad comments were (1) lots of road noise, and (2) the mattress was squeaky and made noise when one of us moved. Otherwise, good experience. We will stay here again.

  Booking was not correct when we arrived, room keys did not work.

  When we arrived and checked in, we had requested 2 Queen beds and handicapped room. Room had standard beds, not queen. Moved to room with queen beds, but not handicapped. Had to change keys twice to get them to work. Breakfast room was hardly functional. Waffle machine did not work. Juice machine only partially worked.This was one of the worst hotels I have ever spent the night in. Choice Hotels needs to do something about this unit.

  Clean, new furniture, good for one night

  We stayed for one night on our way south. The rooms had been updated with new furniture and TV. It is an older hotel and no indoor hallways. Your entrance is to the outdoors. There are no elevators so if you can't do stairs be sure to reserve a ground floor room. The young lady who checked us in was pleasant and efficient. It is in an out of the way area, gas station next door. No restaurants within walking distance. There is a Dennys at the next exit or a Dairy Queen a mile or so away. It appeared that a lot of their guests were out of town workers. However, it was quiet. We were disappointed to find out the next morning that breakfast consisted of coffee and orange juice. Perhaps because of covid. We would probably look for something closer to town or with more dining options nearby on our next trip. It was an okay place for one night.

  Not a brand new hotel. It is however well maintained and the rooms are clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast. Parking directly outside room which was nice. The hotel provided a list of local restaurants and made recommendations as which restaurants were the local favorites.

  my stay at the quality in was wonderful we were on our way to texas for our first vacation with the kids and for ourselves to have a wonderful time with family and friends and we became stranded here in carthage Tx. due to transmission problems well we decided to check into the quality in for the night and to put a group plan together as to what we will do seeing how we were so far from home we had the kids who were so looking forward to a wonderful vacation but we found that while staying here at the Quality Inn in Carthage Tx. We were no longer concerned about not making our trip and the problems that we were having with our vehicle because the staff at the inn made our stay so great especially Miss Reba Armstrong well above the call of her duties to c that our kids well kept and satisfied as well as making our stay a pleasant one while waiting on our ride her hospitality and kindness extended her regular duties i wish that all establishments carried her qualities in helping there guest in maintaining a pleasant stay my heart and prayers and many many thanks go out to her as well as the maintenance man who went above his call in trying to help us locate a vehicle and transportation to what we neeed actually there was also a lady whom name does not come to mind as the moment but she too did a great deal of service in helping us arrive in town and a great kindness to the tow truck driver we wish all of you a great blessings in ur lives and family.
