  Smoke filled experience with bathroom free for all!

  This would be a decent hostel if the clients followed the rules. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are a complete free for all. The bathrooms have genders on the doors but not very many people pay attention. Smoking goes on 24/7 under your window if you get the unlucky balcony rooms. You can;t leave your window open when you are gone due to balcony access from nearby rooms and large windows. The park across the street often hosts loud parties until 2 or 3 am. Slamming doors wake you at 5-6 am. The tram stops right out front and it has a kitchen, It is really cheap. I guess the price should have warned me to stay away. I would not recommend this place if you are bringing children. Yesterday the security guards drug a man out of his room. He was bleeding from his head and could barely walk. I asked the guard if they called an ambulance, as the man was in really bad shape. The guard turned and said he was a drunk. He and his partner got in their car and drove off. They both were armed with 9 mm pistols.

  I stayed at this hostel in June 2015. This hostel is okay, but because of the good reviews online, I thought it would be a lot better than it was. Me and my friend stayed in a double room, her bed linen had a hole in it and mine wasn't big enough to cover the whole bed. The curtains were also too small to cover the whole window. On arrival the staff were about to hand over so they asked us to wait to check in for 5 minutes, an hour later we finally checked in, but they had just been stood chatting for that duration. Saying this the hostel is pretty quiet, cheap and close to the old town. We just felt it didn't deserve the rating it has online.

  The hostel is very well located. The receptionists were very nice. The rooms were simple. The only problem we had was with the wifi in the room, the last two days it didn't work. I recommend this hostel.

  The staff is very friendly and helpful when looking for travel advice or places to see. The rooms are large and the common room is well equipped with free coffee, tea and other appliances for cooking. I stayed with my boyfriend in a twin room. We had a wardrobe, table and chairs, and a kettle all to ourselves. We shared a bathroom which was very clean and had wonderful heated floors. The hostel was very quiet despite being full when we were staying there. A great place to stay. Highly recommended.

  This hostel is about a 5 minute walk away from the main square but still on the route of other shops and bars.The hostel is clean and tidy for the cheap price we paid and they offered towels which was handy as we only had a weekend bag. We did stay in the front room of the hostel and altho the road is a side street it is a little noisy in the morning ( but only as we had the window open)Would stay here again if i return to Krakow
