Not up to my expectations or their pretensions

    rating20 Feb 2026

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but this was a disappointment in almost every area. Definitely unsuitable for business travellers because they don't start breakfast until 07:30. We were offered packed lunches for 07:00, but I don't personally want a cheese, ham and salad sandwich for breakfast...Room was pleasant, bathroom was fine with a good pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower over a bath. Staff were generally not unfriendly, but the welcome was not warm. Dinner in the restaurant our first night (I was travelling with a colleague) was good, the young waiter wasn't very experienced, but friendly and we appreciated that she wanted us to feel welcome. The second night, with a client, the service was verging on both rude and incompetent; an order (placed in Polish) for 2 glasses of red white brought two glasses of tepid white wine and the later request for red was simply poured into my not-quite-empty white wine glass...We decided to wait until 07:30 to have breakfast which, to be kind, was meagre... Plates of cheese or ham, a few broad rolls, plates with 2 button mushrooms each. The only cooked option was scrambled eggs. The hotel was obviously pretty empty, but this was a pathetic offering. Definitely will not stay again when nearby.

    Beautiful building lacking customer service

    rating20 May 2024

Currently staying here with a one year old and soon to be joined with my partner. The building and grounds themselves are gorgeous however if you are visiting as tourists this is not the place to stay. The hotel itself rests in the middle of nowhere which has both pros and cons. My one year old is able to walk around, the maids are very lovely and the lady on reception I'd brilliant. However on our second night the gent whilst not rude was not accommodating as the lady. We walked to the bar and waited over 10 minutes to be seen which is after I walked to reception as the toddler was thirsty and crying. (No shops near by) we were served but the language barrier caused some confusion and in the end I walked to the bar to order a cocktail and sat outside after a wait and no communication. I tried to explain to the girl at the bar my son has an allergy to milk so we decided on the chicken and chips. I'm not entirely sure she understood. I'm a vegetarian so they have made me meals both nights as no English on the menus so have no idea what I'm getting, if I'll like it or what will come..... its just bad in terms of knowledge. Definitely not 4star service. Disappointed today however yesturday was great. I should mention it is empty so you would expect 5star service

    poor and bad quality food

    rating16 Jun 2023

Expensive place and poor quality. we had an idea to make a romantic date but it ended up in feeding the cats. The special soup was supposed to be a Hungariann gulash but really was a grulsh, not even at the right temperature. Also the sourrandings are somewhat strange. A budda status all of the sudden in a classical 18th cent park but no lights in it.Ok, the winelist was supposed to cheer up... a regional wine from there at the price of 20 eur? no thanks. Parking and getting there: you have to sneak through the unlighted forrest and find the place. very bad raod is leading to the palace.

    Great Party Place

    rating29 Apr 2022

Lovely location mids in a park, just 40min away from Cracow. Perfect place for an escape or to celebrate with a family or friends. The stuff is very friendly, food very good and their vodkas are the best. Rooms are clean and quiet. But you do need a car or a transfer to get there.

    Outstandingly charming place!

    rating05 Feb 2020

We went there with our 2-month old baby, the very first holidays for him, and were deeply impressed: out of Cracow and still easy to reach, placed in a calm piece of land with a warmly welcoming and perfectly bilingual team that was there for us anytime. They organized a taxi with a baby seat, upgraded us for free to one of their pleasant comfort rooms (with an ample view of the landscape up to the mountains) that awaited us with a baby bed, a changing table and amenities for all three of us. The breakfast was a composition of healthy, organic, local specialities, served in the lovely winter garden. The restaurant with high-art cuisine was covered with portraits of vine dresser from all continents. And not to forget the spa with a wine jacuzzi, sauna and all types of massages, face masks, peeling and so on for a very correct price.Definitely to recommend if you’re looking for a place to relax for the two, three or more of you!
