Great location but rough and ready

Rough and ready with limited facilities. Booked this for five of us. No lock on the bathroom door, no plug for sink or even a toaster. No tea towel and only 1 small towel each. Such minor things to fix and include would have made the stay much better.Location is great, just a few steps to the main square and Xmas market. But road is busy and noisy and windows are old and the sound carries. The sound also carries from the apartment above so you can hear them walking around. If you are a light sleeper this is not for you but manageable with ear plugs.Good TV and powerful shower. Room for five to sit comfortably on sofas and table.Very warm even with heating off as no ventilation but one side of the window.

The place is AWFUL. NOTHING LIKE PICTURES OR DESCRIPTION. ACTUALLY LAUGHABLE AT HOW THEY CHARGE MONEY FOR YOU TO STAY HERE !! AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Mattresses are toppers on top of Hardwood. Might aswell not have beds at all and sleep on a tiled floor. The towels provided were the bathmats you put on the floor, so enough to drip dry your feet on. The duvets were stained. The Pillows were stuffing shoved into a case. The walls had blood splatter and numerous scrapes, chunks missing. The decorative items damaged, so broken side tables, broken lamps, broken chairs, broken pictures with the sharp edges sticking out. Tiny single duvets to cover the beds, even the doubles. No plug for the sink, god forbid if we were wearing rings and they slipped off, we'd never see them again. No seating areas. Damage literally everywhere you turned in the apartment. The building externally looked like an abandoned building, Black and covered in Graffiti. Looked like Beruit externally looking from the bedroom windows. Dangerous wood covered manhole inside the building by the stairs, which couldn't hold any weight. Radiator hanging off the wall in all rooms. Sockets hanging from the wall. Spent 2 hours of our holiday after seeing the apartment ringing and emailing their 'customer service' team. We'd been up since 4am travelling and this was almost 5pm. Kept promising to speak with a manager and call back, but just responded to emails. Refusing to refund, offered to send a technician to fix. Laughable. Its needs a full renovation and what's the technician going to do, replace 4 mattresses, replace all items, all duvets, provide a sofa, replace all towels, fix the sink, repaint and replace the lamps and pictures, wash the walls of the blood.. all whilst we sit there in situ trying to enjoy our holiday. Joke. Absolute joke. Asked for a refund multiple times. Kept saying to send a technician. After losing 2 hours of our holiday we gave up, dumped the keys back in the key box, got in another taxi and booked a hotel for the duration of our holiday for an additional £400 on top of the money we'd already paid these absolute jokers. Booked through booking.com, have contacted them who advised they will contact the apartment and they will come back to us. Same bloody pathetic response. So will be doing a charge back through my card and providing the evidence of what we were sold and what we were given. Please do not waste your money, time and energy on these crooks. Book elsewhere. Pay more, trust me. Would even let a rat stay here.

The receptionist was very nice, i forgot my keys and he sent them to italy. The room was clean and in the center of krakow. You can find everything you need in the street of the room. I forced my self to wolk away from that street

We had planned a trip from Greece with my family for 3nights in Krakovia ,for February 20 and my choice was Apparthotel. They offered me a good deal with breakfast and a lot of services according to my demands. Unfortunatelly due to covid 19 all the sites of Polland were closed so we have to cancel our reservation. My mistake was that I havent booked it with free cancellation service but that was a not a problem for them. Kindly they offered me a voucher in order to used it in the near future. So, I had the time to replan my trip with no stress for my next available dates. New plane tickets were booked for Okt 2020 but what a surprice for me? I was informed from RyanAir that my flights were cancelled so all my plans for the visit have to be cancelled for a second time in 6 months. I expressed what happened to the reception of the hotel, asking this time for a fully refund of my money as I didnt want to risk another booking for the coming winter. And guess what...No matter that again it wasnt appartment's responsibillity, they kindly agreed to return my money with no penalty. I am still waiting my money from RyanAir but not from Apparthotel friends house.I have to thank you for your cooperation and understanding and I am fully dissapointed that i didnt use your services. The apartment was big,very very clean and warm. The customer service replayed quikly to all our questions.not only:the apartment was fully equipped with kitchen utensils, soap for dishes, even the colander (really indispensable for us... Italians!) salt, sugar and coffee pods...little but important things that made our journey simply perfect.Bravi:finally someone that understand that these little things really make the difference!
