This prestigious, elegant hotel is located at the heart of Krakow's old town. Pure luxury is offered here at what is perhaps the most beautiful hotel in the city that is idyllically located next to the Main Square. Shopping venues, Sukiennice and Mariacki church are to be found in the near vicinity and it is just 200 m to the nearest links to the public transport network and Barbakan, whilst a river and the Wawel hill are 1 km away. It is approximately 5 km to the railway station and Krakow airport is 20 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1887. The hotel welcomes guests in a 3-storey building with 2 lifts and 62 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Great hotel with large bed, good bathroom and excellent choice for breakfast. 2 mins from main square and ten minute walk to station. It has been tastefully re-furbished and one can see echos of art deco here and there. I f I go to Krakow again this will be top of my list.

    We have just spent 4 days at the wonderful Grand which certainly didn’t disappoint with its sweeping staircase and period features. Our De Luxe room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The most comfortable bed with toiletries robes and slippers provided. Bathrooms have a shower over the bath with a fixed screen plenty of hot water and good pressure. Large breakfast selection of continental and hot options. We did not use the restaurant. Due to the proximity to the main square nights can be noisy so ask for a quieter room on booking if preferred. Make sure you view the ballroom it’s stunning. The reception girls were lovely as was the concierge ( Sorry I didn’t get your names) As a birthday treat I asked if it was possible to view the Palace Suite they were so accommodating giving me a tour of both suites which were both stunning. Thank you everyone for making our visit extra special we loved our stay and hopefully will return soon ❤️

    Just returned after 4 day stay in a double deluxe at the Grand Hotel just along from main square. Beautiful hotel with gorgeous traditional interior, lovely spacious spotless room with all facilities. Although the bathroom was a little small with shower over bath it was perfectly adequate and again spotless always plenty of hot water Staff were very friendly and accommodating especially Isabella on reception , nothing too much trouble. We ate out at night with so much choice however the breakfast was brilliant with so much choice including cooked dishes. Absolutely nothing to do with hotel but unfortunately whilst there a so called "important "football" match was on so spoilt the atmosphere of the main square one day with some "fans? " drinking too much, however a very prominent police presence controlled the square and onward travel brilliantly.Fortunately the hotel is a bit more upmarket so didn't seem to attract certain guests. Krakow itself and the main is beautiful with fantastic architecture and spotlessly clean with lovely friendly people and well worth a visit and definitely a stay at the Grand.We would definitely stay there again if returning to Krakow but making sure we avoid any football dates

    Fabulous location for krakow trip. 2 mins from the main square, beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean and an olde world hotel. Staff are lovely , would definitely rebook for another trip

    lovely hotel right next to the main square the rooms lovely decorated and spotlessly clean the staff were fantastic couldn’t do enough for us highly recommend excellent choice at breakfast plenty of selection from hot /cold we did not dine in the evening so can’t comment overall a great hotel a good experience
