  Lovely polish hotel

  Lovely hotel in Great location we loved our 4 night here at beginning of June stayed on first floor in a beautiful room with our own sitting area .. never ate breakfast as we choose to eat out as always had early start… we did eat dinner on our last night and wish we had ate there earlier as it was fabulous and very high standard of food … the crepes Suzette made at the table was best we have ever tasted .. Any issue we had was sorted immediately the only thing having a scare in the bath / shower I feel shower mats should be in each room .. but the staff were all fantastic and very friendly The Bar wasn’t well used but we used it each time we went out or came in and it was lovely to sit in unfortunately by the end of our stay they seemed to be running out of what we were drinking and I don’t think we were big drinkers.It was one of the oldest Krakow hotels which it advertise and part of why we want to stay in it .. and it didn’t let us down old and worldly very polish and maybe not uk 5 star but definitely 4 star, but as we know each country 5 star is different all over the world .. when we come back we will stay here

  The only good thing about this hotel is the location and their eco friendly amenities. (Although everything is laminated so it looks extremely cheap and their garbage is not split for recycling) Everything else is outdated (ex. The TV or the non functioning alarm). Lighting system is still manual so you’ll have to run around the room flicking lights off. The AC is hidden under the curtain so in order to have any air flow you will have to lift up the curtains. It’s a terrible design flaw but one that can be fixed easily. They use Lalique for their amenities so there’s that but the hand soap bottle was super old with scum and writing is barely visible. There’s also no body lotion which was surprising. I’m truly surprised they have won Michelin 2025. Food particles and previous guest items were found on the floor. The feedback form is an A4 paper that says “English on reverse” but it’s empty 😂The trainee who checked me in was basically a robot - spoke so fast at 0100 in the morning there was not a bone of personality in him. The worst experience that forced me to write the review was at midnight few nights later, three of the staff in uniform and name badge were sitting on the steps outside the hotel smoking and chatting. Didn’t even move as I tried to get past them. I’m sure there are plenty of other hotels at this price range that are actually 5 star.

  We have been travelling through Europe for 6 weeks in hotels and Airbnb and this is our worst experience by far in terms of the room provided and cost.We came from 4 nights in the Hotel Altus in Wroclaw - a beautiful 5 Star hotel with super clean, large rooms and bathrooms, at a lower price than here. We booked and paid for 2 nights in advance as this hotel and did so only because it is part of the same group as Hotel Altus in Wroclaw.What a mistake.The room provided is so small and tight. If that was it I could probably accept that except that the bathroom is old, tight and no better than a 3 star facility with a shower in a bath! Further and very concerning is that there is black mould between many of the tiles. The shower screen covers less than half the bath and does nothing to keep water in. Instead, water is all over the floor making it so dangerous to step out and down onto the wet tiles.This is not 5 stars or even close. It is 3 stars at best.If I could only stay 1 night, I would leave tomorrow. I do not want to be here. There are so many better ways to spend your money. Shop around. Do not expect 5 Star hotels in the same group to be the same or similar quality. Here they are not even close.I would never have paid 2 nights here in advance and only did so because it said 5 stars and it was part of the same group as Hotel Altus.I had a reasonable expectation this hotel would be of the same or similar quality particularly as it was more expensive than Wroclaw.I'm afraid I cannot recommend this hotel for the above reasons. I am most disappointed.   Really Nice Hotel in an Excellent Location

  We stayed here for 4 nights in April in a superior room. Room was very comfortable. Big comfy bed, separate living area with additional toilet. The hotel is still decorated in the style of an older, classy hotel. Looks really authentic and is clean and well furnished throughout. Breakfast was top class, in what is effectively the hotel's French restaurant. Has that old world charm look to it without being shabby. Staff were universally nice & helpful. Location is as good as youll get, on the edge of the old town, 150m walk from the main square. Less than 10 minutes in the other direction to the main railway station and a large indoor shopping mall. I'd recommend this to anyone heading for Krakow.   Great hotel, location with friendly staff in old town Kracow

  What a lovely hotel , great ambience very much the Parisian vibe particularly in the restaurant, typical 1920s Paris with typical mood music .
