  Whenever I have long layovers between flights, this hotel is always my go-to choice.There is no doubt: the hotel is consistently clean and quiet, with spacious and comfortable rooms.The breakfast is excellent, truly worthy of the brand and makes the stay even more enjoyable.Always a reliable choice every time I return.

  Kraków and Hilton Garden Inn Hotel

  If your planning a trip to Kraków, stop there. This is the place.My wife,& son have just spent four nights there,16 to 19 March 26,and it was perfect. OK so it might take twenty minutes to walk to the main square,but your walking through the town,or along the river,shops, bars and restaurants, bakerys all along the route. The staff were very helpful, VERY POLITE.Our booking included breakfast and it included everything,continental and English breakfast,all in a buffet style. The rooms were very clean,very well stocked and maintained, and maids in every day. It did make for a brilliant stay. Once you've walked up to the junction and crossed the bridge over the vistula River,great views of the castle to the left,but the first bar you come to is called TEA TIME.Its Polands first real ale pub,very good choice of beers with pea nuts with every pint.And they brew their own beer on site as well.We really did enjoy our visit to Kraków, however be warned it is horrendous clearing immigration, took us an hour and this is quick apparently. When you fly back clear security, took us about ten minutes bit when you get to departures join the que straight away for passport control,don't bother with duty free. The que we joined started at duty free and we got pulled out of the line by airport staff to make sure we got through on time. We'd qued for twenty minutes up to that point. The E.U will find that this system isn't going to work and is quite frankly a waste of time. But don't let it put you off,once your through its a brilliant place to see and visit,and the cakes and buns in the many bakeries are....what can I say be prepared to put on a few calories, infact with the various food on offer ,put on a lot of calories.

  Nice hotel within walking distance to castle and market square ,we had nice view over river towards city and opposite ferris wheel . Rooms were spacious with plenty of storage very clean with towels and bedding replaced daily . Staff very friendly and helpful , check in very prompt and allowed us late check out at no extra charge. Breakfast was fine great variety of the usual cereal , fruit, and cooked items also an egg/omelette station which was great and made fresh .we only had one evening meal but again it was very nice.Used the bar at night very reasonably priced for a hotel and a small shop with a few necessary items .If we ever return to krakow would most definitely book again Dorota Smagur, at Hilton Garden Inn Krakow, responded to this review Dear Guest thank you very much for so positive review .   Customer service cannot be beat! All facilities are modern and parking is free.

  Oliwia was remarkably professional and friendly at check in. She was helpful and confident answering all of our questions, and did so with a smile.Parking is free. If you are just coming as a tourist to see the old town than maybe consider a closer location if you are not fit but we loved it here. The hotel is quite clean, the beds are very comfortable, the workout room is very modern with lots of options. Coffee and good working refrigerator in the room. We will definitely come back when we return to this wonderful city and the amazing people.   Uncomfortable stay - misleading location - not the expected standard

  We booked the Hilton Garden Inn Krakow through Jet2, who advised that the hotel was in the city centre. It isn’t – it’s about a 30-minute walk away, so if you have mobility issues, I would not recommend this hotel.We’ve stayed with the Hilton group many times before and always found them excellent, but this visit was very disappointing. Our family room had a sofa bed that was completely unfit for purpose, the 'mattress' was very thin with no support could feel the slats beneath - very hard and uncomfortable. When we reported it, asking for a new mattress or even a mattress topper we were told to place a blanket over it to 'make it softer' – obviously this didn’t help. On night 2 we were moved to a temporary room but this was due to the noise levels on our corridor - we had to move back to the original room the following night. On the third night we were told to use extra duvets to make the bed more comfortable, which again didn’t work. Highly disappointing as we had been assured after night one the bed would be fixed/replaced sorted. A school trip were also staying in the hotel and they were very noisy and disruptive. On the second night (due to the noise) we were moved into temporary rooms, on another floor - but were woken at 5:30 a.m. by the same school group running and banging on doors - it would seem that they had taken over many floors of the hotel. They were noisy and disruptive , racing up and down the corridors, blasting music out, making tik tok videos, running in and out of each others rooms until very late and when we politely asked them to keep the noise down, some of the accompanying adults were rude and intimidating, which made us feel unsafe.On a positive note, the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was good with plenty of options, and the hotel staff were as helpful as they could be under the circumstances. However, overall the experience fell far short of Hilton’s usual standards, and we left very disappointed. I appreciate that some of the issues were out of the ordinary but this does not compensate for the fact that my hard earned money was wasted one what should have been a memorable trip - it was ..... but for all the wrong reasons.
