  The hotel is on a very busy road with tram noise all day/ night long. If you are not in a rear room then you would be stuffed. Positives...the room was big, spotless, had a fridge,air con and 5 mins walking to the square and tour pickups and 24hr reception. Negatives...pillows awful, decor basic, some staff no engagement, did have a hostel vibe and used for groups of youths on trips, building further along full of graphetti. Conclusion...was luckily in a rear part so was quiet but would I stay again,NO.

  Very close to old town square, excellent breakfast. Clean and warm hotel.

  Clean and warm hotel. Excellent location, approximately 5 minutes walk to old town square. Hot showers and beds were comfortable enough. Excellent breakfast, scrambled eggs were unreal. Good options to suit most tastes and all food monitored closely and refilled promptly. Well done to the kitchen staff.

  Complaint Regarding Lack of Hot water and heating system

  am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received today at your hotel.After returning from the Auschwitz tour, my family and I needed to take a shower, only to discover that there was no hot water in the room. Additionally, the heating system was not working at all. I immediately went to the front desk to report the issue. The receptionist informed me that a technician would be sent to the room; however, no one ever came.What made the situation even more frustrating is that I was not offered a room change proactively. I had to return to the front desk and insist again due to the unresolved problem. Eventually, I was given another room, which was smaller than the original one, adding further inconvenience.This experience falls well below the level of service expected from a hotel, and it is certainly not an appropriate way to treat a customer.I hope this matter is taken seriously and that appropriate action is taken.

  Really nice hotel situated a very short stroll from the main market town. Easy check in, large clean rooms with tea and coffee and a fridge. Theres a lift for making the upper rooms more accessible. Breakfast was nice with a choice of hot, cold and Polish produce. Staff didn’t say anything to us which is a shame being a small room for breakfast. 7.00/7.30am quiet for breakfast, 9.00am onwards was really busy. Main downside for us was that the hotel is advertised (On The Beach) as having an onsite restaurant and bar which they haven’t got. Would I return, most definitely..

  A reasonably priced hotel in a good location great for a few days in Krakow.

  The location of the Maximum hotel is great, within walking distance of the old town, Rynek Glowny and the Galeria Krakowska which is a large shopping center. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are helpful. Our room was on the second floor and was quite big with only minimal noise from the trams on the main street. Our friends were on the third floor at the front so the trams were louder for them. The room was cleaned every day, complimentary water and plenty of tea/coffee etc. Only powdered creamer though so we took half a glass of fresh milk up to our room and put it in the fridge after breakfast. The room was nice and warm, the shower was very good with great pressure and lovely hot water and clean towels and beds made every day. Breakfast was varied with cereal/toast/fruit/pastries / continental as well as a hot breakfast too. Coffee machine and hot water for tea.There is a slight drain smell as you come into the building but we couldn't smell it anywhere else.If you have a late flight you can leave your luggage free of charge.
