    Second visit to Krakow

    rating28 Apr 2026

Second time at this hotel and I definitely think it won’t be the last.Let’s start with the staff, reception staff can’t do enough for you.Booking taxis, directions around town, best places to eat and drink. They all ways have time to help with anything you need. They are among the best I have encountered.Rooms are basic, clean and well presented.Shower all ways hot.room is cleaned every day with clean towels.Breakfast is ideal for a good start to the day, lots to choose from hot and cold.If you want a full English,go to Blackpool. The rooftop bar and restaurant has fabulous views over the river and the castle. The staff are as helpful as the front of house and the food is of a really good quality. This hotel is in a fantastic location overlooking the river and in easy access to the old town.Cant wait to go back.Thank you all for a wonderful time in Krakow.

    AVERAGE AT BEST

    rating27 Apr 2026

Plus pointsGreat Staff, particularly on receptionLocation is as good as you could wish for. However room was just about average whilst being clean there was a certain aroma which we thought could be a drain problem. Bedding duvets and pillows poor ,towels were at best well used and one had holes .Perhaps will teach us that what is considered budget accommodation is not for us.

Fairly basic hotel, but great location and great staff

    rating15 Apr 2026

Stayed for three nights on a business trip. Small rooms, and very basic bathroom amenities (they only provide a combination shower gel / shampoo). Beds are quite hard, but comfortable. Breakfast is OK in ground floor restaurant. Also great rooftop bar/restaurant - didn't eat, but great view, nice drinks, and very helpful staff. On the river, next to the castle, on the edge of the old city and a 10 min walk from main square.

My 5th visit to Krakow and my 4th consecutive stay here.As always the hotel was spotless. Staff at reception give a 5 star service, especially Bartosz who is an amazing guy. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The same is true of both restaurants and where the food on offer is very decent indeedThank you for another great stay

    Decent budget hotel!

    rating28 Mar 2026

We stayed at this hotel last weekend. The location is great, just under wawel castle. Everywhere is walkable in Krakow so it doesn’t matter too much which area you stay in. This is a decent budget hotel. It was very clean and we had what we needed. There was liquid soap and shower gel in the bathroom but no other toiletries so be sure to bring your own. There was a hairdryer which I used- it was fine. We had a fridge so we got milk so that we could have a cup of tea. Whilst there was a kettle and tea/coffee/sugar, there was no milk. The beds were very low and pretty hard. It looked like the hotel was being refurbished floor by floor and our floor (2) definitely hadn’t been done yet. The hotel was quiet so getting to sleep was no problem.Breakfast could have been better. Fruit was sparse- there were only a few apples. We had yogurt and pastries. There were scrambled eggs and chopped sausages (the hotdog style ones). There was also a continental breakfast with cheese and cold meats and salad if that’s your thing. The rooftop bar/restaurant is really lovely. It was too cold to sit outside but the views were amazing. We ate in the restaurant twice and the pizzas and pastas that we tried were lovely! Highly recommended! Staff were very helpful! If you’re looking for a good budget hotel, this fits the bill.
