    Stayed here with my elderly disabled Father for 4 nights in May. We had 2 single rooms.Reception staff can be rude and dismissive of any assistance you may require, maybe management could train the staff to smile?!Breakfast was good quality and plentiful.Rooms - Kettle provided, however, one single sachet of coffee, one tea bag, and one powdered milk was provided per day, (powdered milk in tea?! Yuk!) if you wanted any more it was a resounding "no" You had to buy coffee from the bar. I went to the local shop and bought some 3 in one coffee sachets. No fridge in the room. No safe in the room.There is a water machine on every floor, with options for still or sparkling water and a jug in every room for you to fill up, this was a nice touch, however, due to no fridge, in the middle of the night the water had gotten too warm to drink.Shower - Water was hot, pressure was ok-ish! No shelf to store anything in the smallest shower space I have ever seen, if you do manage to turn around in the shower, you bash your body on the tap! Towels were clean and changed every 2nd day. Hairdryer in the bathroom was ok. Luggage room for storage is good, however, when asking for assistance to use it, again growled at by reception as if they can't be bothered to assist you, we needed to store a wheelchair as we were going on a tour, they were in no hurry to assist, despite telling them I had a tour guide waiting outside for me, they just shrugged and said wait for the porter to unlock the room, he finally arrived and shouted at me to wait, while he gave me a numbered token to use when picking up the wheelchair. The dismissive unhelpful attitudes of reception is not something I take lightly, I am very well travelled and have never been made to feel as if I was a nuisance to staff at a hotel.Location was excellent, 5 minute walk to the square where restaurants and bars were plentiful and reasonable value for evening meals, we chose to eat out in the square every evening, due to the rudeness of the reception team, we didn't feel spending money in the restaurant in the evenings would have been justified or deserved.Would i stay here again? Possibly, just to use as a base, there is so much to see in Krakow, it's a beautiful city and everyone else we met and spoke to were wonderful friendly people.     Decent hotel in a good location just being a few minutes walk to the main square.The rooms were clean - not overly spacious but ok, however the bathroom was small.Breakfast can only be described as average and they have a ridiculous rule about scanning your room key before they let you in as I found out when a very rude man refused me entry. I went down for breakfast and my friend just went to a shop to buy something before coming back for breakfast - I didn’t have my room key on me because I didn’t know I would need it - he refused me entry and I had to wait for my friend to return BUT then he still wouldn’t allow us in until we EACH presented our room keys.     Old and dilapidated hotel with poor service The front desk staff is rude and confrontational, the room is old with smelly carpet, sound isolation is poor and you can hear traffic all night, there are NO AIR-CONDITION, and the staffs are discourteous and arrogant.     Uncomfortable experience

    I was sharing a room with two other people, we were happy with the room. But in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping except for me, I was having a shower and then when I got out, someone knocked on the door. I didn't even have time to get dressed, until a man, a member of staff had opened the door to our room and shouted that we need to be quiet. This woke up my friends as well and we were so shocked and I still feel uncomfortable thinking about it.
