    Perfect location for Corning exploration

    Perfect location for exploring Corning and all the amazing surrounding areas. We stayed here for 2 nights as a stop during a 2 week long road trip. This hotel has some of the most comfortable beds you can ask for, quiet and roomy hotel. The breakfast was great and perfect to get to ready to explore. There is an indoor pool and fire pit area that was just perfect to enjoy on a late summer evening. A laundry mat around the corner was also a plus. For the price the quality of this hotel went above our expectations as a family if 4. I would definitely stay again next time we explore the area.

    Great place for a road trip and very near the Corning Museum of Glass

    This was an excellent place to spend a night on the road. My primary comment to others is that the second floor is only accessible via a long narrow stairway. Ask for the first floor if you have concerns. Otherwise, the room was very clean and comfortable in all regards. Breakfast was in a well-lit large room with a variety of options including yogurt. Staff was very friendly. Parking was fine tho much of it is on the side. It snowed overnight but the staff cleaned the walkways and there's a covered area for loading the car.

    Very nice place. Guest services were good. Room clean and comfortable. Beds comfy. Mini Fridge and microwave. Only problem was the pool had recently been shocked and chlorine smell lingered in hallway. AC worked fine. Window screen was broken so couldn’t open it. Breakfast was a bonus. I am a gluten free person and never have much choice at these places but this one offered a dedicated GF waffles machine and bagels. The waffle was delicious. And I had sausage too. Would definitely stay here again. Only reason it didn’t score five was the strong chlorine smell lingered all evening.

    We had a very nice stay here.Convenient to Corning Museum of Glass and the charming "Gaffer District" across the river along Market Street. The hotel itself shows its age in a number it ways. But who can really complain when the room is clean and commodious with lots of nice features like a make-up nook for the missus, a full-size writing desk, plenty of storage areas, large digital TV, king-size bed with side tables with regular lamps and reading lamps too, large bathroom. And perhaps best thing of all a fantastic complimentary breakfast in a cheerful room offering scrambled eggs, link sausage, sausage and biscuits, do-it yourself waffles, bagels and breads, several juices on tap. Good service at reception, in the dining area, in the guest rooms.

    This probably was once a decent hotel. It isn’t any more. First off, there is no elevator. So be prepared to shlep your luggage up the steps. The rooms are huge and clean, but they are obviously not putting any money into the place. It is tired and worn. Breakfast is terrible. And the pool looked dark and unappealing. Even the staff seems to hate the place. I am sure there are better options in the area.
