  Lovely hotel, perfect position

  We stayed here for 4 nights from Mon 25th April. 2 adults, a 17 yr old and a 14 yr old plus mother in law who's 77yrs old.What a beautiful hotel. Immaculate. Room was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Very friendly staff who were always so good at answering questions when we needed advice on things. The little courtyard by the bar is so pleasant to sit in for drinks. The hotel is situated perfectly for the square. A very lovely 10 min walk through the park. Just perfect. Will 100% return to this hotel in the future when we revisit Krakow as we loved the city so much we are definitely coming back.If I had to say 1 area of improvement it'd be more wardrobe space. But that's it, very minor.   Great location next to Krakow Old Town-breakfast overpriced-rooms hot-serious incident with our room

  Breakfast was overpriced.Incident of staff member allocation our room out to another couple on our second night stay & the couple walking into our room. Which was wholly unacceptable & we went straight down to reception to complain. The staff member admitted to her mistake of writing the incorrect room number on their room access cards & seemed to think that was enough? It certainly wasn’t as it’s a total breach of guest safety & security. It totally unsettled both of us & ruined our evening-there are no internal dead locks on the hotel doors either. We asked to speak with a duty manager but there was no one on shift until the next morning. I proceeded to sent an e-mail to the General Manager who did come to see us just as we were checking out to catch our transfer to airport. She apologised & said would be looking into the incident. As we could not understand how the system would allow another 2 guests to be checked into a room already occupied? Let alone the severe implications of this actually happening? The GM has since refunded that nights stay. Also, offered a 30% discount if we stay at other Leonardo Hotels in Europe in the future. Since coming home we have purchased large door wedges for future hotel stays as this incident has really highlighted that you are just not that safe staying in hotels.Finally the room was very warm as air conditioning not adequate.   Great rooms, Service and Location - Scary Elevators

  The hotel itself is excellent - a small, upscale, modern boutique with attentive staff and an excellent location. We got a suite and it was outstanding. The only complaints were 1) the air conditioning was not operational (the fans worked, but the cooling system did not) which was not particularly problematic as the weather was mild. But the elevators.... I am not a mechanical engineer (but my wife is) and the sounds and action of the cars was... worrisome. We ended up taking the stairs to an from the 3rd floor 90% of the time.   Good hotel close to Old Town

  The most important aspect of this property is that it is in walking distance from Krakow’s Old Town. In less than 5 minutes, you have access to historic buildings, shopping, restaurants and bars. It was also very close to Wawel Castle. The property itself is a boutique hotel with a small restaurant/bar with about 15 tables in the lobby. Due to the smaller size of the hotel, there were few amenities other than a small gym. What they lacked in amenities, they made up for in service and quality. The rooms were modern and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were no hidden charges. Most importantly the rooms were reasonably priced for their quality and location.   Great location, a short walk to old town and city sites. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Enjoyed the bar for late night drink.
