    Expectations vs Reality – An Average Experience

    Reading other reviews, I was a bit surprised and confused. I travel a lot and have stayed in Poland multiple times. I’ll start with the positives. The hotel staff were all excellent—kind, helpful, and polite. 10/10. The hotel was clean and had everything necessary.On the downside, I would point out the location and the resulting noise. People with light sleep definitely won’t get good rest there—even the smallest details could be heard, even with the windows closed. You could hear people talking, horses galloping, and of course traffic noise. It’s possible that rooms facing the courtyard didn’t have this issue.Polish food and its variety are the reason I usually enjoy hotel breakfasts in Poland. However, this time the selection was rather modest and one-sided. I didn’t go hungry, but there was nothing particularly enjoyable.The floor in the room creaked terribly. In my opinion, pillows say a lot about a hotel’s quality—large, comfortable, and high ones add a touch of luxury even to cheaper hotels. In this hotel, they were so worn out, lumpy, and thin that it was hard to even fall asleep on them.Location was ok- about 20 minutes from centre on foot.     Really happy I chose Liv'Inn for my Krakow trip. The aparment was clean, spacious and had everything you need for a confortable stay. Great location too, easy access to the Old Town without all the noiseBut the highlight was definately the staff, especially Karyna. She was so friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. Asked her for some restaurant tips and she gave me proper local recomendations, not just the usual tourist spotsHad a small issue with the wifi one evening and she sorted it out in minutes, no fuss at all.
