  Difficult and confusing to check in. Front door is locked with no instructions on how to get in or a door bell! Just a QR code to scan and check in but only managed to get into the building as somebody was coming out.The two guys on reception were very rude, wrong room was allocated to us and absolutely refused to do anything about it (we should have had a private bathroom and booking website also said towels and rooms had a TV were provided but they aren't)The 'clean' bedsheets has stains on the them, absolutely no sound proofing and could hear the conversations from the room next door which kept us awake. Only one shower and toilet for about half dozen room's. Shower head is broken so doesn't attach to the wall so makes it awkward to shower - the hot water tap on the shower also gets VERY VERY hot and badly burned my handLocation is good - 10 mins walk to the square and afew decent restaurants close byWould not recommend or stay again

  just horrific. dirty. no curtains. stinking of smoke. our plane was late and when we got there everything was locked up and nobody was there to check it. at 1.30am out on the street trying to fill in an online check in with no internet. just dont do it

  It was our first time in Krakow and we stayed here for 3 nights. The hostel was clean and located in a very good location. It is very near to all the historic places of the city. The staff were very friendly. The only thing I don't like about this hostel was the breakfast, too expensive for low-quality ham, (boiled) eggs, toasted bread. I would advise ppl to just find and eat at some breakfast place (there is a lot!) nearby where you would pay the same amount but get a way better food. Oh and I hope too that the hostel organize activities for solo travelers, that would be awesome if guests has a chance to socialize to each other. lorf_cracow, Администратор at Lorf Hostel&Apartments, responded to this review Thanks a lot for the feedback. We appreciate your opinion.We must admit, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say, that our location has many advantages as we are located 8 minutes by walk from the city center and 15 minutes by walk from the train and bus stations. Besides that, another big advantage of our location is that it quite a cozy and peaceful place. The hostel's interior is contemporary in style with a distinctive touch of classic Krakow mood. Well, yes, you are right. The atmosphere depends on personal preferences and on people who with their presence make this, or that space a special place to be. That is why we do not impose any atmosphere, but rather invite our guests to cooperation and creativity.We have also a wide range of tours for our guests.   The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location is about 5-minute walk from the center and is set in a quiet side street just over the road from a park. Breakfast is included for a standard fee and constitutes of the usual continental foods. The accommodation was clean and well maintained and staff are on hand throughout most of the day and night. A deposit is required for the locker key, is returned once checking out.
