  Fantastic hotel in Krakow

  Fantastic hotel. The hotel does not have a reception but you receive your code for the front door and code to get your room key on the day of arrival by whats app and e mail. Also your room number. My codes arrived by 11am so we could of actually gone in around that time. We were allocated room one on the first floor, double room. The room was spotless and very big for a budget hotel. Bathroom and shower was fantastic as well. Note room 1 has its own very big balcony totally enclosed by netting in order to keep the birds away. We spent a good few hours on it, they provide an ashtray my wife was buzzing. Breakfast was fantastic scrambled eggs, bacon fried eggs to die for. fruit, toast , sweet treats, cereal , cheese and cold meats etc. I have been to 4 star hotels that are not as good. The young man running breakfast was a superstar his attention to detail and work ethic was amazing, he cares about his job and customers nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a shop next door open 6am until 11pm, great selection of goods. Turn right out of the front door and 2mins down the road is a 24h shop, note they do not serve alcohol between 12am and 5:30 am. Again turn right out of the front door and its one straight road to the old town main square 5 min walk. We are going back to Krakow next year and will book here again through Jet2.

  Great location, close to KRK airport and old town, and our room was clean and comfortable. However the downsides include no room service, for example, our bins weren’t emptied, toilet roll wasn’t restocked for our 3 day stay, and towels weren’t changed, and if you wanted clean towels for example they came at a cost, shown on the price list in your room! Also, the self check in was hard work, especially when we weren’t made aware of this until we arrived at the hotel after a long morning of travelling, thankfully, an English couple showed us how to check in, note - make sure you have watsapp downloaded! I also think the checkout time (10am) is incredibly early, especially if you have a later flight, there is luggage storage thankfully however.

  Don’t bother coming here

  The only good thing about this hotel is that it is so close to the centre. Some reasons that I wouldn’t come back is firstly the breakfast was all gone at 8:30 when it’s open from 7:30-9:30. When we arrived we were made to wait around for an hour until we were lucky enough to catch someone walking in. The self check in is terrible and frustrating especially after travelling. There is no room service, I was not expecting a full clean room however we have had to re use towels for our stay and we haven’t seen a single maid anywhere in the hotel for that matter. Don’t waste ur money coming here.

  We were a group of 11 people in 6 rooms. Yes we weren't all given rooms on same floor but it wasn't an issue. We were aware it was self check in and everything was simple codes sent 3 hours before arrival time. Rooms were basic and could have been cleaner but location made up for it I suppose. Cleaners dont come daily so you have to keep your own room clean but get ho takes 5 mins. One fault is we were given tea and coffee but no milk to go with it, we didnt arrive till late so shops were closed,no tea in bed for then lol all in all we had a good stay. Some of us had rooms on front with trams running noisily but it wasn't a big deal. Would we go back!!! Yes but airport would need to sort out EU issues as we had to wait 2.5 hours queuing to get through passport control. Yes would stay here again.

  Great location for tourism but the praises stop there. We arrived late at night. Had 3 rooms booked on same booking ended up on 3 separate floors. One of the rooms we couldn't get into (faulty lock) Rang the emergency number and was told they couldn't help us until 8am. It was midnight so not at all helpful. We didn't give up and eventually, after sending videos of us not being able to open the door, at nearly 1am they agreed to give us the code for a different room. One room was booked for 4 people. They hadn't made the sofa bed up and I couldn't find spare bedding. After asking on the phone, the bedding was inside the bed. This should have been ready for us as it was clear on the booking it was for 4 people. The rooms do all smell as in other reviews, some worse than others. Oh, and you only got one tiny pillow each.Now the big one! The noise from the trams. They run all night and every few minutes from around 6am. After 4 nights, I'm glad to be home so I can sleep. It wasn't as bad in the rooms at the back but was awful at the front. There are much, much better places to stay in Krakow so I would advise anyone not to choose here. I was so disappointed.
