Location

This hotel is located about 100 m from Wawel Royal Castle, on the busy Royal Route, 200 m from Rynek Główny, which is the main square with numerous restaurants, bars, nightspots and shops. It is about 400 m to public transport links, roughly 500 m to the Underground Museum, about 600 m to Jagiellonian University and approximately 800 m to Dworzec Główny bus and train stations. Kazimierz, the famous Jewish district, is just 1 km away and the National Museum and the Wisla River are both within walking distance.

    Title: Disappointing service response despite attempts to resolve during stayWe recently stayed at Hotel Pod Róża and unfortunately the experience did not match expectations for a five-star property.There were several issues during the stay, including inconsistent air conditioning, limited breakfast selection relative to the price, and conflicting information from staff regarding in-room television streaming services.One morning I also requested assistance at breakfast due to a diabetic low blood sugar situation, and the response was inconsistent across different days.To be fair, we raised these matters directly with the hotel during our stay and communication did take place. A breakfast refund was partially addressed depending on booking channel, and Expedia later provided a goodwill credit.While some effort was made to respond, the overall experience and consistency of service did not fully reflect the level expected for the property rating.

    I loved this hotel. Effortlessly chic, classy and just a high standard everywhere. From welcoming helpful staff to elegant rooms. I was actually sad to leave after my night. Thanks staff for being so kind to me!

    Excellent location, service, rooms and food.First trip to Krakow and this hotel is ideally situated within a 2 minute walk of Krakow's Main Square.The hotel has a really discreet entrance, which hides a haven of tranquility from the bustle of the Old Town.Excellent check-in experience, we arrived early and our room was all ready.The room was well appointed, with a view of St Mary's Basilica (Room 403) with the added bonus of hearing and seeing the hourly Trumpeter playing from the Basilica Tower.Dinner in the hotel restaurant warranted a further review, this Michellin Guide restaurant delivered great food and service.Breakfast in the glass covered courtyard did not disappoint.Looking forward to returning soon

    A beautiful hotel, ideally located. The breakfasts were first rate, with an enormous and varied choice, including many buffet items, along with other things such as porridge and eggs which could be ordered. The waitresses were attentive; especially Izabela. The restaurant was decorated with stunning displays of fresh flowers. The ensuite to our room had a variety of lovely toiletries. The reception staff were very helpful, in particular Angelica and Anna.

    Comfortable, nicely appointed hotel room with beautiful bathroom, located in the Old Town of Krakow. Elevator, elegant bathroom, comfortable bed, very helpful bilingual staff.
