  Don't judge a book....

  Stayed here for 2 nights.On first arriving we wondered if we'd made a mistake. Outside the hotel there is quite a lot of trash and a few homeless people scattered around (they didn't bother us), it gave a really poor first impression. Seriously considered cancelling and booking elsewhere. I am really glad we didn't.Check in was nice and easy, staff were all friendly and helpful.The room was absolutely fine...Pros:CleanComfy bed (slept great both nights)Smart TVFridgeMicrowaveIronPlenty of clothes storageDecent bathroomEverything workedCon:No safety deposit boxBreakfast was decent. Sausage, egg, toast, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee...Nice easy 20 minute walk into Old Sacramento. Denny's, McDonalds, stores all within a 2 minute walk of the hotel.If I ever find myself in Sacramento again, I would happily stay here again.

  Pick up the trash!!

  I would NOT stay here again. The area is sketchy. I appreciated the fact that they had the facility fenced and a security guard on duty, but the premises was dirty. There was trash all over the parking lot, pet area, and generally all over the lawns, etc. It looked like they have people living there on a long-term basis and it appeared that those people just threw their bags of trash onto the lawn in front of their rooms. I don't understand the lack of pride they take in their facility.

  I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the SureStay Plus by Best Western in Sacramento North! The location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of stores within walking distance and 24/7 security that made me feel safe and comfortable at all times. I must give special praise to Ranjana, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and Rupali at the front desk, who was incredibly warm and welcoming each morning. I’d return just for their hospitality alone! Highly recommended!

  The staff was very nice, excellent customer service!! always ready to lend a hand! Hotel was clean and up to date.   I found a live bed bug on a piece of clothing on the morning of my stay here. I notified the receptionist who immediately notified her manager. Her response was “this room was inspected yesterday.” Management did not apologize, offer to comp my room or cover laundromat cost, or follow up in any way. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you during the stay. As you complained, Immediately after your checkout the whole room was inspected by special team. Because the bed bugs are found in colonies, & we couldn't found any trace of bed bug or bed bugs. As the procedure says we checked the every sheet, Mattress protectors, mattress, bed boxes inch by inch. Event the headboards & Metal bed was inspected thoroughly. As ours is a open property, you might have seen regular bug who came flying into your room.
