  Arrived on a Sunday and the whole area, where the hotel was, was a madhouse! No hotel parking, so you have to pay for street parking. Got a room with a sea view…but also a view of the party restaurant next door, that also comes with music that starts around 10 am and ends around midnight. I will say that on Monday, the crowds had dwindled…so maybe just crazy on the weekends. Ordered room service breakfast and 90% of it was wrong. They got the omlet right, but it was cold. Also got a napkin stained with lipstick. The room itself was nice…the shower dangerous. Very slippery. Hotel staff were doing their job, but really didn’t seem interested in interacting. The hotel itself is nice and the location is beautiful…but not the vibe I was hoping for. Maybe they are choosing not to, but felt that the hotel could have been more helpful to foreign visitors.

  Relaxing hotel

  Pros - lovely room (we had deluxe room on 4th floor)Most staff very friendly & keen to help - were given brochures for tours & ablut local area, had taxis booked for usWide range of food for breakfast including the sicilian sweet cakes (bizarre!), bacon & eggs, toast, yogurt, nuts, cereal.Reasonably priced food & drinks in restaurant - similar to other places in AcitrezzaGood coffee bar downstairsCons - storage space in room negligible - we ended up living put of our suitcases!Acitrezza itself is out of the way, need to use local buses/taxis to get anywhere (not hotel's fault - did not do enough research before booking!)Only one key for room - would have benefitted from two.All in all a lovely hotel but we should have gone for somewhere more central to the sites & wonders of Sicily.

  Won't be going here again, hotel left a lot to be desired

  The area was beautiful. But the hotel was not what we expected. Our double bed was two single mattresses pushed together. Not enough storage in the room and floors were not overly clean. Breakfast was ok, but too many cakes for this time of day. Terrace restaurant was really good food. But very expensive. As for their beach club, that is a joke. Sun deck at best and over priced. Advice to anyone staying, head to the harbour where there are some amazing and reasonably priced restaurants.

  Lovely and relaxing stay

  We spent a lovely week at the hotel. The staff were always courteous, friendly and professional. A special thanks must go to Francesco at Reception for his invaluable tips on nearby restaurants and his overall help with everything else. We would also like to thank Valeria in the restaurant and the other restaurant staff. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good and we ended up eating dinner there on three occasions. We will definitely return to the hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay for making us feel so welcome.

  While the hotel itself was lovely, most of the staff were rather curt if not downright belligerent.The location was good, being just a short walk from many restaurants and situated along the promenade.The rooms are of good size and included a mini fridge. The air conditioning was good, and the beds were comfortable.
