    Great location but no lift

    rating30 May 2026

Arrived at 2am in the morning. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly and our bags were carried to our room.Unfortunately we didn't realise there were 2 separate buildings separated by some commercial offices. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor in the one with no lift and many stairs. The stairs proved to be a challenge due to an old injury. We did ask for a room change but there were no other available rooms. The door to the stairs is always locked and accessed by your room key. The room was very clean, basic but adequate. It had 2 comfortable single beds, small table with 2 chairs a dressing table and wardrobe with a safe. The shower room was nicer with modern fittings and large shower. There is a kettle with tea/ coffee provided (no milk) and a water dispenser is located on each level. We were in room 81 which was really Quiet. We never heard any noise from adjacent rooms or the street/ square.Location is excellent. It's on a busy street just a minute from the square and 10 minutes walk to the castle and river. Lots of food choices on the square but cheaper alternatives just minutes away. I would stay again only if I could book the main building.

    Long weekend

    rating24 May 2026

Just stayed here for four nights. Room very clean, bed comfy but the pillows need renewing. Also our room was at the front of the hotel and is very noisy at night although earplugs are provided. Breakfast was good.

    Not disability friendly

    rating11 May 2026

My fellow traveller booked this hotel because she has a disability and the hotel states it has a lift. We book in to find out only part of the hotel is accessible by lift and we are not in that part. My poor friend has had to make it up 2 flights of stairs, across a long balcony to get to our room. We asked to change to an accessible room but were told none is available. Joanna Grzesiak-Włosowicz, General Manager at Hotel Rezydent, responded to this review Dear Emma,Thank you for your stay and feedback.First of all we do not state that all parts have a lift. Most travel agents don't list an elevator as an available amenity. Furthermore, many hotel reviews mention it, so with good research, this information isn't difficult to find.Your reservation didn't include any special requests, so your room was assigned based on availability. Such requests are always recorded in the system, and even though we don't offer a 100% guarantee, we make every effort to fulfill them.Unfortunately, as a small hotel, room changes are often impossible due to high occupancy. It's not our intention to inconvenience guests, but unfortunately, we often don't have this option.Regards,Joanna Grzesiak

    Ideal location

    rating07 May 2026

Location seriously couldn't be better or closer to the main square. Lovely convenient little courtyard and food & drink area at back of hotel. Rooms are very dated and appeared clean on arrival but when we allowed them in to clean room they just made the bed, definitely no cleaning and didn't even leave any toilet rolls in the bathroom which we had to ask for. Walls are paper thin so you can actually hear conversations from surrounding room and even snoring so definitely pack ear plugs. Beds are comfortable but more pillows needed. You can ask for things like pillows and toilet rolls but shouldn't really have to. Joanna Grzesiak-Włosowicz, General Manager at Hotel Rezydent, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your stay and feedback. During our stay, no comments were reported to the reception desk, which is available 24 hours a day. If you feel something is not right, please contact the reception desk and share your comments, which will be immediately forwarded to the appropriate department. If the housekeeping department forgot to provide toilet paper, we sincerely apologize.Extra pillows are available in the wardrobe in the room, in quantities corresponding to the number of people sharing the room. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide more than two pillows per person (one on the bed and one from the wardrobe).Regards,Joanna Grzesiak

    Nice hotel

    rating09 Apr 2026

I was not originally booked for this hotel but had to change to it because of the knock on effects of a flight change. I was a little apprehensive when I saw the reviews, particularly about the noise level, but I actually enjoyed my stay at the Rezydent.LocationThe hotel is situated literally a couple of metres from the town, which is pedestrianised. Because of this, the taxi could not drop us right outside so we had a short walk with suitcases to get there. Our room did overlook the shopping street and was a little noisy, but not enough that it disturbed our sleep, and ear plugs were provided - we didn’t feel the need to use them. RoomWe had a triple room, which was clean and spacious and contained two single beds and a day bed. I normally develop a bad back after a week in a hotel bed but these beds were so comfy. There was WiFi in the room but my teenagers were not entirely impressed with it. There was a kettle with mugs and tea and coffee sachets, but no milk was provided - this was not an oversight, there was a sticker stating this was the case. The room had a safe and hairdryer but no fridge; the information booklet stated there was a communal one available but we didn’t need to use it. There were only two plug sockets in the room and neither were close to the main beds. The bathroom was very spacious, although the shower was quite small for the space. Very powerful in general and perfect temperature, although it did reduce to a trickle at one point on one morning when I assume other guests were also taking showers. BreakfastThe breakfast offering was ok, with hot items, bread, croissants, a selection of cereals and one choice of yoghurt available. The breakfast room was lovely and cosy, but the area with the breakfast buffet was quite small and dominated by a large pillar which meant it felt very crowded when more than just a couple of people were there. There were plenty of bakeries in the town with one directly opposite the hotel so we mostly bought pastries from those for breakfast. The hotel does not include lunch or an evening meal but there is an abundance of restaurants just down the road, including two which offered discounts to Rezydent guests.StaffThe lady and gentleman on reception when we were arrived were friendly and helpful, giving advice on where we could get some groceries and how to get to the pick up point for our excursion on our first day. The staff in the breakfast room and the cleaning ladies were lovely. The two gentlemen on reception when we left were a little quieter, and didn’t ask how our stay was etc when we checked out, which we put down to a lack of confidence with English rather than rudeness.Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. I loved our stay in Krakow and would definitely return, and I would stay at the Rezydent again. Joanna Grzesiak-Włosowicz, General Manager at Hotel Rezydent, responded to this review Dear Emma,Thank you for your stay and nice feedback. We're pleased to read that the hotel and its surroundings met your expectations. One correction: the electrical outlets by the main beds are located behind the bedside tables, where the bedside lamp is also plugged in. I know this isn't the best solution, but it's what we've designed.Looking foward for your next stay and regards,Joanna Grzesiak
