Location

This hotel is located near to Wawel castle on the banks of the river Weichsel and is the first international luxury hotel in Krakow. The historical market place with it's variety of restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs as well as the old Jewish quarter of Kazimierz can be reached within a 15-minute walk. Public transport connections are within 20 m of the hotel. It takes 20 minutes to reach Krakow airport with the bus. Salzmine Wieliczka includes the UNESCO World Heritage Site and lies only around 10 km outside of the city. The nearest ski area is around 50 km away from Krakow.

Facility

232 rooms, including 3 suites, 3 apartments, 107 single rooms and 111 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included.     Wonderfully situated, the hotel offers a warm cozy atmosphere with its cheerful staff and excellent kitchen. The views from the rooftop are spectacular and the food equally good to go with it,The rooms are spacious, neat and clean albeit a little dated. Great value for money.Shoutout to Justine and Kamil - wonderful folks who helped us interact with our travel agent on a day trip to Auschwitz and Berkenau.Loved the experience at the Lounge - Monica and the gentleman with the ponytail were simply awesome. The food and drinks served at the lounge was outstanding and the service impeccable.     Good vibes and stay at Sheraton Krakow

    Stayed at the Sheraton May 6-11. Had a great stay. Very good location, an 8 minute walk to the old town square, with a castle and river view. Hotel was clean and modern and room was very comfortable. Ate at the restaurant and the food was very good and well priced. The breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent - high quality, lots of choice. We were able to use the Lounge in the hotel and it was excellent. Snacks all day and a nice small buffet in the evening. Beer and alcohol was free. Robert ran the lounge and kept it clean, all guests looked after. Natalia excellent at front desk and the young lady at the Concierge was a wealth of knowledge and arranged our sightseeing to the salt Mine and Auschwitz. Highly recommend this Sheraton - you will be well looked after.
