  Super hotel in a great location

  This is such a great place to stay with a view over the main square. The rooms are quiet, cosy and decorated with interesting art by Polish artists. The rooms had coffee machines and were well equipped including bath robes and slippers. The beds were very comfortable and offer a good night's sleep.The breakfast buffet had lots of options with fresh fruit, yoghurt, various hot and cold options and crepes. The pastries were delightful too.There is a restaurant and bar with tables on the square and we enjoyed food and drinks here. The atmosphere is great and the service was fabulous.

  Best view of main square.

  Room 43 with a balcony offers the best view of the main square from any hotel in Krakow. So convenient to everything. Great breakfast with eggs to order. Again, breakfast room overlooks the main square. Jakob and Casper at the front desk were very helpful. Will highly recommend.

  Elegant, elite location, very noisy!

  Beautiful old style polish hotel right in the main square the best location in Krackow.Down side extremely noisily until 12:30 weekends and 11:30 week nights so if your tired and want and early night, no chance !The food on the square is UK prices nothing is cheap here at all.Hotel staff very very good !The view from our top room has been the best view from any city break I have ever done and we have done loads.Over all fantastic place to stay great trip 👍🏻

  You walk into this unassuming reception from Glowny. The cute, ornate lift took us up to our room which was gorgeous. All amenities were available, a fabulous view and a great night’s sleep.

  From the moment we arrived at Hotel Wenzel, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The hotel is perfectly located right on Kraków’s main square, meaning you are quite literally in the heart of everything – restaurants, history, atmosphere – all on your doorstep.A huge mention must go to the staff, particularly Gregory on reception, who was absolutely first-class. His local knowledge was invaluable: recommending excellent restaurants, organising trips, and generally making sure our stay was seamless. There was also another gentleman on reception whose name we didn’t catch, but he was equally helpful, friendly, and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them.The hotel arranged our airport transfer, and despite our flight being delayed due to customs queues, the driver was still there waiting for us. On departure, they again organised our taxi back to the airport, perfectly on time. Stress-free travel at its best.Hotel Wenzel also organised several tours for us, including Auschwitz and Birkenau, the Schindler Factory Museum, the Ghetto and Jewish Quarter walking tour, and the Salt Mine tour. One particular highlight was the guided Jewish Quarter and ghetto walk, where a knowledgeable guide met us at the hotel, walked us through the area, and took us directly to Schindler’s Factory for the museum tour. Exceptionally well organised and deeply moving.The breakfast deserves special praise — genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had, and I’ve stayed in many hotels. The choice was extensive, the quality excellent, and everything beautifully presented. Quite simply, anything and everything you could want.The hotel itself was spotlessly clean throughout. Our room was beautiful, with a charming old Georgian-style elegance, stunning décor, and a luxurious bathroom and shower. The attention to detail was evident everywhere.The hotel also owns a restaurant next door, which serves fantastic food — extremely convenient and very high quality.I honestly cannot praise Hotel Wenzel highly enough. Outstanding staff, superb location, immaculate rooms, exceptional breakfast, and flawless organisation throughout our stay. You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel. We certainly wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Kraków.
