  Around half an hour drive from the airport via taxi, although due to trams and restrictions be aware the car may drop you 50 yards from the front of the hotel, could be an issue if you have mobility difficulties, and was also the same when going back.Reception staff are pleasant but as a regular traveller to ex Eastern Bloc countries there aren't many smiles or pleasantries however that's just the way they are I guess? Room was small imo about 15ft long x 9 ft wide, with an en-suite attached to it, clean tidy, tea coffee but as per not enough as we are big tea drinkers, polish tv only, a few charging points, found an Iron, tiny wardrobe about 3 hangers only, ended up using two chairs to store clothes!! Bit of noise from street but we take good earplugs , room did get very warm upon closing the window. Bathroom was ok, stupid siting of the toilet, very strange? But plenty of hot water and shower good.Breakfast at 7am one day was challenging, no table unless in garden and it was cold, people everywhere, the usual queues of the coffee brigade taking forever to get their drinks, have tea? It's so much easier haha, food was average, hot stuff? Scrambled eggs were tasty, bacon greasy but passable, baked beans on one day, then pancakes, cereals, fruit, cakes etc etc were all fairly average, my advice, go later in the morning, much less fraught, and food just as good as first thing.Turn left out of the hotel front and in 15 mins you're in the old town centre , which is lovely, just watch out for the con of a service charge if you use one of the restaurants bordering the square.Summing up I would come back as hotel is in a quieter part, but would get brekkie somewhere else, there's plenty around.

  Rooms are a good size, and tidy. Bathroom very good, shower powerful.Breakfast room is excellent, this was different to the last time we stayed here, B&B well worth it, staff polite.One issue, is that we were at the front on 1st floor and the noise from the trams was a pain, finishing late at night and starting 5am, hence why there were free earplugs in the room .All in all , a good place to stay, within 10-15 mins walk to the main square.

  The Yarden is on a main road and to be honest doesn't look good from the outside,also teams run nearly all night so light sleepers take some ear plugs.That out of the way the hotel itself is only a 20 minute walk to the old square.There is a small reception area,where staff are helpful but not very chatty.There is a lift and 4 floors of rooms,the rooms are quite small but very comfortable 2 single beds,TV,tea and coffee making facilities,a water machine on each landing.A small bathroom and shower cubicle, dressing table and air on.The breakfast are amazing lots of quality dishes to choose from.It is situated in a fair sized conservertary adjacent the large garden.Would stay again

  Lovely little hotel about 10 mins walk from the square . Rooms not big but clean and functional- tea and coffee replaced daily . Helpful reception staff . Lovely selection at breakfast both hot and cold . Hotel very clean throughout. Perfect location just enough out of the centre and nice walk to the square . Bonus is you can check out at 11 and leave luggage at the hotel if a later flight. Would recommend and stay again.
