Avoid if you want a drink or God forbid food

Unhappy staff who refuse to give service at the hotel bar. You need to go out for food and drink. Shocking . Apart from 1 staff member the others just don't seem to want to be there . Andrzej Kozak, General Manager at Campanile Lublin, responded to this review Dear John, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to read about your experience and especially about the situation at the bar. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide our business guests. Please accept our sincere apologies if you felt dismissed or poorly treated — that is never our intention. We will carefully review the situation internally to clarify what happened that evening and ensure that all team members provide consistent and professional service at all times. Your comments are important to us and help us improve. Regarding breakfast, we are sorry to hear that our offer did not meet your expectations. We continuously work on improving both variety and quality based on guest feedback. We truly regret that your stay did not reflect the standard we strive for and appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention.

Not great

Comfortable beds, but unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of the stay. The bathroom and room were noticeably dirty, which immediately left a bad impression. The carpets were heavily stained, giving the entire space a neglected, unclean feel. The toilets were filthy and clearly had not been properly cleaned in quite some time. This level of hygiene is simply not acceptable. To make matters worse, the room was absolutely freezing. The heating did not work at all, and despite trying to adjust it, the temperature never improved. It made the stay extremely uncomfortable, especially at night. The bathrooms were particularly disappointing — dirty surfaces, visible stains, and an overall sense that the facilities were outdated and poorly maintained. The décor looked very old-fashioned and worn out, far from what you would expect from a place that should provide a basic standard of comfort and cleanliness.Overall, the lack of cleanliness, the poor maintenance, and the broken heating made the experience extremely unpleasant. This stay did not meet even the minimum expectations. I would not recommend it unless significant improvements are made.

A very pleasant stay.

Stayed in the hotel twice on route to and from Kyiv. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help. My late arrival and early departure didn't cause a problem. Really nice breakfast. Rooms were spotless. Great location. Would definitely use the hotel again.
