    We have stayed at this hotel six times now. The staff are all professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel is always spotlessly clean and tidy. Rooms are a good size. Breakfasts and evening meals cater for all and great value. We will be staying again soon.

    We spent three nights at the Hotel DeSilva we enjoyed it very much I would say the rooms do need a refurbishment the walls had been patched up a few times the bathroom was tidy but again had been fitted many years ago.Also you do get a bit of noise off the main road which can be annoying.A special mention to the reception staff they were outstanding they spoke english very well and they are a credit to the hotel.The hotel is about 7 minutes to the main square and costs about 33 zlote to get back to the airport.

    Potentially the most horrible food in Poznań

    We had a team business meeting in this hotel which was a poor experience. The hotel location is in the centre of Poznań which is convenient, there is a small parking lot available ( additional payment). Our room was clean, had efficient AC, was spacious but unfortunately situated in the basement so without natural light. The coffee break included homemade carrot cake which was very nice. The staff at Reception was friendly if a bit junior. The worst surprise was lunch which was absolutely awful, soups tasted mostly of arificial flavouring ( maggi) , one was fatty, tasteless and full of overcooked dumplings ( zacierki), the other people returned after smelling it. The main course was a choice of dry, fish fillet, without any taste, with a slab of cheese, the other some sort of unappetizing , deep fried potatoe patty and a deep fried minced meat croquette with a microscopic portion of sweet coleslaw. The food was served cold, dry, lacked any flavours, the combination of 2 deep fried elements didn’t work at all so not surprising that plates were being returned untouched. It’s a shame that such a nice hotel in prime location offers such terrible food and that there is no chef or professional staff checking the quality or flavours. Definitely stay away or eat elsewhere in town, lots of great places in the vicinity.

    Hotel has very good location. Rooms are very spacious, especially double rooms. Also rooms are very clean. Staff was very helpful and polite. Special thanks to reception staff for their help. Prices are value for money. Of course, if I visit Poznan again, I will stay at the same hotel. I highly recommend it. Poznan is great place to relax.

    We come to Poland for a wedding near Poznan and stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Convenient parking next door, friendly staff, great room. Location is fantastic, 5 minutes to the old town square. Breakfast buffet is a bit too simple.
