Location

This modern luxury hotel is ideally situated in the social and cultural heart of Warsaw. The main train station and the cultural palace are both within 300 m of the hotel. It is approximately 10 km to Okecie airport.

Facility

10 suites, 54 single rooms and 272 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     Amazing But….

    Ok….i stayed in Mercure in Ostrava and you will see that I love that place and have been back on numerous occasions. So we stayed in this one as surely the chain upholds the same standards…correct! They absolutely do!! This one is more modern and flashy but that doesn’t take anything away from Ostrava. This one has less on the meat side at breakfast but still absolutely amazing!! The rooms are clean, modern and special. There was tea/coffee in the room and a mini fridge if I needed it. The hey are very efficient and it’s all turned off, with instructions on turning it on if needed. The trash can has recycling sections in there. It’s clearly very heavy towards sustainability which is great. Check in and check out was smooth and faultless. I do however have a criticism. We left our luggage on the final day. It was in a secure room and tagged so I was happy it was safe…..HOWEVER…. and sorry but this is sloppy…on return to collect the bags before heading to the airport, we were allowed into the secure room. The girl had no interest in looking at our paper tags and simply allowed us to grab our bags. We could have selected any bag we wanted and leave with it unchallenged. That’s on the staff member, not the hotel but that really needs addressing as this staff member gave off every sign of “I can’t be bothered”, which is a shame when the other staff were so professional and helpful. Star knocked off for that. Aside, amazing hotel and will be back.

    Perfect localization in a city center, next to the main station. Rooms are renovated but they are unpleasant, small and dark. Moreover, hotel is too expensive for such service.

    Nice hotel but far from Old Town

    This is a very large and modern hotel very close to the main train station in Warsaw and the Palace of Culture and Science. It is a very long walk (about 40 minutes) to Warsaw Old Town and many of the more famous tourist sights. So if you primarily want to see the sights there you should book a closer hotel. This area is a more modern area of Warsaw. Much less touristy. Lots of banks and businesses. The hotel is clean and the rooms are quite nice. There is a large bar and restaurant in the hotel that was reasonably priced. However due to the large size of the hotel it does have that corporate feel. Since it probably mainly supports visiting business people this appropriate. Overall a pleasant stay. Just too far from the things I wanted to see. That is my fault for not noticing sooner.

    Location was very good. There is a secure underground parking. Just across the hotel there is a nice shopping mall. Culture Palace is only 5 minutes away on foot. Room was big and clean and comfortable. All in all very good. Staff was very helpful. WiFi is good.

    Black mould, heavy dust, and an unacceptable management response

    The condition of the room on arrival was unacceptable. The bathroom had visible black mould, and there was thick dust buildup around and behind the minibar/fridge, indicating that the room had not been properly cleaned for some time.At check-in we asked about breakfast and were told someone would confirm later. This never happened and we did not receive breakfast.While some staff were polite, the handling of the complaint by front-of-house management was poor. The attitude was dismissive and defensive rather than professional, and there was no genuine attempt to acknowledge or correct the issues.I travel frequently and am familiar with Accor standards. This experience fell far below what should be acceptable for a Mercure hotel. Based on both the room condition and the way the issue was handled, I would not return or recommend this property.
