  So hard to write a bad review during pandemics, when so many hotels and apartments are in difficult situation. However I feel obliged to warn other travellers. Let the great dissappointment that I experienced be a warning sign.I made the reservation in Platinum Residence Mokotow, for the night from 6.11.2020 to 7.11.2020. Reservation was confirmed and the payment on my credit card was blocked. When we arrived to the accommodation, the lady at the front desk required me to present physical credit card, that I did not have with me. I offered to make a contactless payment by telephone but it was refused. Cash payment was refused as well. There was not even the slightest effort or good will to try to resolve the problem. The only answer I heard from the reception personel (and later from the manager) was "it is our rule, we can not check you in, it is our rule and it was clearly stated in the reservation". Thus we were left with no option to check in (20:30 and it was raining outside, we were after more then 4 hours of driving). We left the accommodation and called the assistant at the portal that we made the reservation. He called the accommodation and latter informed me that they finally agreed to accept cash payment. Immediately we went to the Platinum Residence Mokotow but the reception was closed and there was no one present to check us in.As it was getting late, I had to book another place for that night where we managed to check in without any problems. It was possible to make a contactless payment by telephone. If you are looking for potential problems go to Platinum Apartments Mokotow. It is really hard to find such bad customer service and rude treatment in hospitality industry nowadays. If you want to sleep well at night go for other places. Fighting with your accommodation managers is the last thing one would like to do when travelling. By the way, it was not against their rules to charge my card for the accommodation service they did not provide.

  Far from center. Bad traffic

  It not a hotel. Breakfast is 50 pln Really overpriced. Big traffic ijams n the areaFar from the city. Far from Old Town and sightseeing. I would not stay there next time due to the far distance to the city and nothing interesting in the area

  Unfortunately it is a little too far out from the old town. The apartments are clean and spacious. Staff were pleasant and helpful. On arrival at the main train station we used a taxi and got massively over charged. After that experience we used Uber everyday with great success .......very cheap, efficient and quick. Pick up within 3 minutes cost around £2 to get to meeting points for walkative tours, old town and train station with 2 passengers.On arrival at the hotel I had authorise £20 equivalent payment up front on my card for any breakages. On leaving I was told the room would be inspected later and I would be refunded in 5 days.Breakfast is provided via a ticket for a buffet at a cafe in the complex. It was ok.There was a bar at the Hilton which is also in the complex. A tapas bar is also close by. Uprising museum is very near and could keep you busy for several hours.

  Serious Flaw from UK perspective

  Stayed here for a city break from UK via a Travelzoo offer from Jetline, & would NEVER stay again, nothing wrong with the apartments per se but by the time we got access the damage was done.I won’t go into specifics but a combo of totally wrong instructions & bad info from the apartments reservations office & a flight that landed at 20:45 had us turn up to a locked reception (I now know it closes for the night at 21:00 so beware) no problem I thought as there was an 24hr emergency number on the door, unbelievably it went unanswered, 3 attempts by myself & several from another guest who offered help, we were now stranded & isolated & had no choice but to walk with luggage around Polish housing estates at nr midnight trying to find a bed for the night, Google maps stated Hilton (1.3 miles away) I would like to add the Hilton staff were exceptional & before we paid any money the receptionist tried the emergency number from a Polish land line, success! Even then it was nothing short of “Tough s##t were shut” The Hilton Receptionists couldn’t believe it, in UK you would be fired for less!! What happens if you lose your key card? Sleep rough until 09:00 next morning! We returned on the dot 09:00 next morning totally fuming with a lot of raised voices & pointing fingers, not a good way to start a short break! At least the 2 young girls on reception accepted full cock up responsibility & understood our frustration.If you want to encourage UK tourists at least be user friendly, to display an 24hr emergency number with no answer is pointless, frustrating & very unprofessional. The apartments are 35 mins away from Warsaw city centre (walking & metro) we found it a bind going in & out twice a day & clock watching at night as not to miss the last metro at ½ 12. Trip advisor states it’s 25 mins from Modlin airport, totally false it’s 1 hour by Taxi (give or take)Warsaw was a nice city and we made the best of it, but it was totally spoilt by the total checking in shambles and to that end I would never ever recommend or even think about returning to these apartments. Do yourself a favour & book the Hilton at least you’ll get in!!

  It is very clean and comfortable. It is in the center of Warsaw with nice view. Calm and nice atmosphere . We stayed one night but next time can be longer. Only negative about residence can be parking problem. I recommend this residence.
