    No privacy in dhowers

    rating03 Apr 2026

I wished someone wrote this on TripAdvisor before I booked. Privacy in the shower is very important to me. The showers have no locks so anyone can barge in and although men and women are separated other girls can see you totally naked whilst changing as there are no covered area for changing and the shower screens are all see through glass so you can see other people stark naked whilst showering. How horrible. Also rooms are very noisy you can hear people below and next door talking, coughing, farting, laughing extremely clearly. I virtually heard every word my neighbours were saying like they were in same room as me. I paid for a single room so I wouldn’t have to put up with this but made no difference. Very dodgy people staying here too. No way will I recommend this place. I have stayed in hostels before and this is BAD. Only good point is location.

Very bad experience about the one staff

    rating05 Mar 2020

Hi let me write a very bad experience with the staff especially the one who is wearing the glass who does yesterday morning shift... At the reception... She did know how to talkk9 the guest... Was very rude... And she keeps arguing with guest.... I really appreciate if you take an actiion... And need a confirmation.... On that...... Very bad........ Its really disappointing... And she spoiled my day too...... Rooms are so clean and neat..which i really like it...location is very goood... But i stayed in 3rd floor... No. Lift..... In the room we can't charge the mobile..... Because there is no power sockets.... Need to come down for charge.....which is need to work on..... Also i really appreciate about zuzanna she is very friendly and polite... Which is sounds coool..My room number is 315 bed number is B...... Thank you.. You accuse our staff member of being rude while your behaviour wasn't polite either. She gently asked you to leave the front desk area when you came there without access and you got angry about it. All of our receptionists enjoy their job and they don't like to argue with guests. Your attitude is not fair, because being assertive and being rude is two different cases, and she doesn't deserve to be called that. However, thank you for your appreciation for our location and cleanliness. Good hostel in the main building

    rating23 Jan 2020

A good value backpacker hostel that leans toward being a party hostel but where you can still get a good night sleep. Each floor has a kitchen with showers, there are lovely common rooms with some extremely comfy seats and a downstairs bar.1 issue I would highlight is I stayed in dorm room in the smaller building across from the main building. There was a tiny kitchen that didn't feature much. To use the main kitchens I had to ask for a keycard or hope the doors are open. You should really get a key to 1 of the floors so you can use the main kitchens, yeah the doors are open during the day but i had to ask a few times in the evening. Explore42959836439, Kierownik ds. gości at Patchwork Warsaw Hostel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for your opinion and appreciation for our hostel.Budget rooms which are located in the other part of the building have access to a small kitchen and as you mentioned main kitchens are located in the main building. For the security reasons corridor doors are closed during the night, but our reception is open24/7 so there is always someone to lend a key out. However we'll take your suggestion into consideration :)Kind regardsPatchTeam

    Comfortable

    rating10 Nov 2019

I decided not to stay at the hostel I had orginally booked as it gave off bad vibes. I headed round the corner to Patchwork and asked at the desk for a room. The receptionists were very friendly and gave me the choice of room type. I first asked for the 10 bed dorm, and check in was very smooth and informative...however when I got to the dorm it turned out a big group had taken the wrong beds so mine was occupied. I returned to the desk and the receptionist apologised and found a quick solution for me - she upgraded me to a 6 bed dorm as way of apology which was very kind and well handled. The room was spacious, bed was comfy and they have handy little pouches attached to the bunk bars to keep your belongings in. Lockers in room too that they provide a key for.Common area was relaxing, and I had great fun at the bar one evening - well done to whoever hired your bartenders!I checked out early in the morning and the receptionist gave service with a smile!Bathrooms were the only downside - not the cleanest, and they smelt so badly of sewage, however it turns out many other places in the city did too so I guess it's not the hostel's fault.Regardless, I would likely stay again if I return to Warsaw! worst customer service

    rating28 Sept 2019

ATTENTION: my stay in warsaw ruined by the receptionist name blanca, arrived at 2 in the morning and took a nap in the common area lounge. she kicked me out and let me stay outside freezing. they can actually check the cctv that she passes twice and see me freezing. Humanity isn’t in their vocabulary its all about the money, they don’t care about their guest. I tried to talk to them to let me in because i am not use to cold weather. they ignore me and said i can only get inside when my time of check in. Blanca i hope you wont experience this in asia or in any other places in the world. i will still pray for your soul. Explore42959836439, Kierownik ds. gości at Patchwork Warsaw Hostel, responded to this review Dear Sir,In accordance with regulations, people without a valid reservation cannot stay in the hostel and use our facilities in view of security and other guests' comfort. On Saturday our hostel was fully booked, we had no beds available so we were not able to provide a place for you. Our common room is not a place where people can stay an entire night, even as previous guests. It was also a very busy night for our recepcionist and perhaps she was a bit unfriendly, but she was in fact doing her job. Usually we try to avoid the situation where someone has to leave the hostel, but on that specific occasion our receptionist asked you to leave the hostel. In hindsight, we regret that you felt mistreated by our receptionist however in our neighbourhood there are at least three other hostels and a hotel, so it was possible to find a place to sleep somewhere else without remaining outside in the cold.Reagrds PatchTeam
