  JUST HORRENDOUS!! AVOID!!

  Myself and my brother booked these ‘apartments’ because of the beautiful, deceiving photos on booking.com, with our partners for a family weekend away. We were made aware over the confirmation email that the payment method was cash on arrival. Which was fine. However, we arrived at this very un safe, graffiti covered street and initially thought we may be in the wrong place. We wasn’t. We called the number on the booking and was informed that a lady would be along with the keys within half an hour. The cleaner arrived with her son and a set of keys. First off telling us over text message that one of us was staying in 3 and one of us was staying in 5 (10 minute walk away from each other) yet we both had the exact same address on our confirmation and had already complained about this but thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt and at least take a look inside. These were not apartments! This was a rough, dirty, residential block. We will start with the lift, that the doors never even shut properly on! Not to mention the fact the doors and floors were covered and held together by Lino and duck tape! Even the cleaner looked scared on the way up and she was used to this! The corridors looked like what could only be described as where drug abusers would normally hang out! We was in utter disgust and shock that these people are even allowed to advertise so falsely and give booking.com such a bad reputation. This place should be took off their website or better still knocked down!! We didn’t even stay long enough to look around at the bed sit we was expected to stay in, the front door into the only room was enough! Just awful! Please please never stay here! The cleaner Magda allowed us to call her manger Micheal off her phone to tell him how angry we were and that there was no way on this earth we would be staying in this place and that we won’t be handing any money over, to which he agreed was ok and that was that. We finally found luxury apartments after hours of walking and searching online, that we were expecting, which we cannot fault at all. However we was now out of pocket because we had to pay more than expected for accommodation. The best bit is that we have been home for over a week, due to booking.com having a card on record etc. Micheal must of got hold of my details and has charged my card on a Sunday evening of £125! The full amount for 3 nights that we never even stayed 1 in! Booking.com are doing there up most to get my money refunded from them and my bank have told me to report this as it is fraud. That he thinks it’s acceptable to falsely advertise such disgrace! Then agree that we will not have to pay any cash and will not be charged. Then have the audacity to charge my debit card a week after. I’m appalled and these people should be put away! Avoid this place completely. Even the streets. These block do not even over look the pictures of the beautiful views shown! Awful. Just awful!

  The worst experience ever!!!

  I have booked the Apartment at Chmielna around 3-4 weeks ago as I had 36 hrs in Warsaw in between the flights. My choice was solely based on the level of trust I have to booking.com services as well as location (Chmielna Street). I have been using your service for a while and I've always had positive experience, however not on this particular occasion. Around 10 days ago I asked the owner for a possible late check in as my flight arrived at 10.30 pm. Owner has replied via booking.com it is possible for an extra charge of 40 PLN in cash only, which I'm sure is illegal in Poland cause there was no receipt presented to me. One hour before the departure I was informed via txt message that my new location is Panska 3 instead of Chmielna 10 which is more than 20 min walk away in a not nice neighborhood. Moreover, upon my arrival in Warsaw very unprofessional owner requested cash only in advance as well as a tip for some random guy to hand in the keys to the apartment. Initially I did not want to go to that location as I had few appointments around Chmielna street which is why I made the booking in the first place. Owner was extremely unprofessional and said I can do whatever I want and go wherever I want !! As I was unable to secure a hotel in a middle of a night I had no choice but to spend the night at Panska Street . I arrived to the apartment around midnight and discovered the apartment was in a terrible state , elevator got stuck twice on the way up , apartment was dirty and shabby and most importantly not what I have paid for . I spent there only 6 hours and checked in to a hotel in Chmielna . I texted the owner in the morning confirming I left this property and how unhappy I am about her behavior. Firstly, she has lied about the apartment as she is advertising Chmielna , not Panska 3. Secondly, she was extremely rude and unprofessional and spoilt my stay in Warsaw completely. I have already consulted the situation with my lawyer and informed her about seeking legal help regarding the situation. Owner did not provide any receipts for cash and I'm suspecting she is avoiding tax office in Poland . Legal action would follow from my side. After all of it she must have recognized her wrongdoings and gave me the cash back. I have txt messages to confirm it in Polish. I am asking you to stop working with this lady as she is a pure scam and will ruin your reputation too. Her other adres is Panska 3 m 105 Warsaw. Do not ever book this place.

  Very basic apartment in central location of Warsaw. No air conditioner so when it's hot you really bake. Apartment was located on Panska street 5 last floor I was afraid to step on balcony as it looked very old . Many restaurants around I can recommend French Bistro on Swietokrzyska street they have nice snails and Chablis. Location of the apartment was perfect but I think it was overpriced.

  We went to Warsaw and had to wait on the street 2h because woman didn't tell us we should call when we'll be there... terrible place and expensive! It's in centre and next to Pałac Kultury i Nauki but it's not worth it. At night there was a homeless man next to the stairs... just sleeping. Our " apartament" was on the last floor. Bed wasnt comfy, bathroom small and terrible. Not gonna come back and never take this apartament!!!
