  Beware of a scam

  I rented a two-bedroom apartment in Triton Park, Warsaw, Poland. The apartment was not as described on Booking.com—it has a small kitchen with only a hot plate, not a full kitchen. While I was okay with this for our vacation, the bigger issue was the deposit.The owner, Dawid Zabieglo (@dawidw70), asked me to send a refundable deposit of nearly $300 through Revolut just one day before arrival. He initially seemed friendly over the phone, but once the apartment was returned in perfect condition (we even replaced the TV batteries to be nice), he completely stopped responding and ignored all messages regarding the deposit.Booking.com’s customer service was unhelpful in resolving this issue. Based on my experience, I strongly warn others not to rent from this person—the way he handles deposits and communication is suspicious and feels like a scam.

  Triton Park apartments is a short train journey followed by a 10 minute walk from Chopin airport. There are trams accessible from the apartments within a 5 minute walk which take you 25-30 mins to reach the city centre. There is a supermarket and a domino’s underneath the apartments and a garage across the road. Check in was easy and quick. The downside to the apartments was there is only one square pillow on the bed (more like a cushion) you can request more but would have been nice for spares in the cupboard where there was extra towels. The bathroom mirror is incredibly high - I’m 5ft4 and could only see my forehead! The water temp in the shower went from boiling to cold to boiling throughout and there are a few other things around the room that look like they just need a touch up. We could hear a lot of noise - footsteps and banging etc from surrounding rooms. The apartment we stayed in was spacious and light, a lovely large window and balcony and had everything we needed for a few nights stay.

  Worst experience I ever had. Dirty linens, absolutely destroyed furniture and helpless staff. Will not recommend to consider this place even for a short stay. The only advantage is a grocery store in the same building. Thanks to that there is a parking place. But not for free...

  Spacious Apartment with Nice Amenities & WiFi

  Upgraded from a studio to a spacious 2 bedroom, 1.5 apartment with balcony off bedrooms and huge panoramic windows in the living/dining rooms. Good WiFi. Good reception desk experience. Grocery store at ground level. No washing machine, but self-service laundromat nearby. Lighting in the apartment was dim, but satisfactory. Some of the bedroom door trim was coming loose. VERY SPACIOUS, plus a large closet. Bus and tram (#7 & #15) are nearby. Plenty of restaurants (pizza, Indian, Italian, & Asian) are within walking distance. Also, fresh flower market, nail salons, and Asian Food Court within 15 minute walk. Good security.

  We were only given one blanket and two pillows in the room for three people. No one answered the phone. At the reception they refuse to communicate, can only give us the key to the room. As a result, you get a problematic room and no one to solve the issue with. In descriptions on the booking says that the staff communicates in three languages, it does not correspond to reality - only Polish
