  We booked to stay at this apartments and we were looking forward to it and 2 days before we arrived we got moved to the ovo apartments. We had no choice but to move to ones we hadn't booked. I asked if they could upgrade us or offer some complimentary food or something as compensation for the inconvenience and was told they wouldn't do anything. So I asked again and said they would speak to the director which is total nonsense as I never heard anything else about it so we were moved and it's just tough. The apartments we moved to weren't as nice they were fairly clean but the staff were rude and ignorant not once did anyone greet us on the way in or out got to a stage where I would purposely say good morning so they would have to respond. Not only that they gave us dirty looks like they didn't want us there. It is a central location and decent amenities and that's it. The beds were very uncomfortable, no offer of having rooms cleaned or towels changed. Didn't hear once from the original apartments to ask if we were ok or enjoying holiday completely forgotten about. That us until the last day when I handed the keys over i forgot to hand over the lift key (no one said anything) then within 10 minutes of leaving they were hounding me calling me texting me rudely asking why I hadn't handed over lift card which I had just forgotten, I had actually remembered and was on my way back to hand the card over anyway but it was non stop until i took it back and even then they didn't ask how our stay was despite them knowing our stay was over. Throughly disappointed and inconvenienced the entire trip

  I called the day before my arrival to confirm the reservation details. The receptionist, without offering any apology, stated that due to a system change, the reservation was lost — and that was the end of the discussion.

  Water views in Wroclaw

  We drove in from Mainz; luckily it was a nice day and the roads were clear- but its a long way and we were pleased to arrive at the hotel . It was a very comfortable and relaxing space; one felt at home immediately. I particularly liked the location and the views; I liked to see the trams moving around, and life on the river. In the evening and in the morning the light on the river was beautiful ; I think the visuals were the best bit but the chairs were comfortable and I slept well; and I enjoyed the tv and we cooked some fine food.

  poor facilities and service, better to stay away

  I am planning to formally complain to booking.com about the poor quality of our stay and your facilities in Wroclaw and ask for a full refund. I have never done this before but this time our experience was truly terrible.We (a family of two adults and three kids) were very disappointed for the following reasons:One of the reasons, we chose the property was because it was described as having parking. When we called to reserve parking, we were told that no parking was available on that day. So we had to look for parking somewhere else and pay PLN 60 extra for this. That was a huge inconvenience because our stay was already rather short and we did not want to spend time looking for parking.We requested a child crib for a 1.5-old baby. We were promptly informed about the additional charge for it and assured that it would be there. Upon arrival, we found another portable bed for an adult, instead of a crib.When we requested a proper crib, someone at reception first told us that the crib was supposed to be put there by someone else, not him. We asked several times to fix this problem. Someone brought us the crib without any bed sheet, pillow or blanket for a small child. We were suggested to use something from adult beds, which was completely impossible (too big for a small crib).Our TV set was not working at all. We tried to make it work ourselves and failed, Then someone from the reception tried to help us and also failed. We were told that someone would need to come to fix it later. This never happened.What was described as a sofa for sleeping turned out to be impossible to sleep on - the mattress was very thin and one could feel iron springs piercing into our bodies and making a lot of noise each time we moved. See the picture. I had to sleep on the floor to avoid it.

  Amazing place, great location and friendly staff. Breakfast is served in rooms, and they have grrat selection, something for everyone. Amazingly clear. Highly recommend to everyone searching for place to stay in Wroclaw!
