Overcharged for the drink in the bar

    rating02 Mar 2026

Poor customer service.I was overcharged by the staff for 1 beer extra and was added to my bill.I have asked to check CCTV footage.Someone has rang me not being friendly and apologetic and just asked for account details so this will be refunded within one month which is also not great. Will not return to this hotel!!! Alicja Golon, Guest Services / Front Office at ibis Wroclaw Centrum, responded to this review Dear Pawel,Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations and that these situations affected your overall experience.Regarding the bar charge – all bills posted to the hotel credit require the guest’s signature, which confirms the accuracy of the items and the total amount. Any doubts or discrepancies should be reported at the moment of signing, so we can verify them immediately. Since no comments were made when the bill was signed, the charge was processed according to the confirmed document.According to the information we have, our Front Office Manager has already contacted you and explained that bank transfers take longer than standard card refunds – they are processed three times a month, which unfortunately results in a longer waiting time. We understand the frustration this may cause, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact us at HA073-GR@accor.com. We will be happy to help and clarify anything necessary.Best regards,Alicja GolonGuest Experience Manager

    Decent Hotel

    rating25 Nov 2025

I stayed in this hotel for one night. They are about a 15-minute walk from the train station and 20-minute walk from old town. The bed was hard. There were 2 flat uncomfortable pillows on the bed. They have a water cooler that you can get water from on each floor, which is a definite plus. There is a step into the bathroom that I tripped over several times. I did occasionally hear the tram running outside the window. They do offer earplugs, though. The room was clean. Breakfast costs extra. Alicja Golon, Guest Services / Front Office at ibis Wroclaw Centrum, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to see such a low rating, as we always strive to make every stay as comfortable as possible. We’re glad you enjoyed the water dispensers and found the room clean. At the same time, we regret that some aspects of your stay, such as the bed comfort and bathroom step, affected your experience. Your observations have been shared with our team. Regarding the pillows – they follow the standard of the ibis brand, and we do our best to keep them in the best possible condition. We appreciate your comment and will take it into consideration for future improvements.Thank you again for your review, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide a better experience next time. All the best,Alicja GolonGuest Experience Manager

Ratings seem skewed towards Novotel as the Ibis is a 2-star hotel for good reason being dated, no AC and poor breakfast.

    rating14 Oct 2025

I decided to stay at the Ibis for my 5 day visit. I did so on the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, those reviews seem to relate to the Novotel which is part of the hotel. The distinction between the Novotel and Ibis on the same property is worth noting. As with other Ibis hotels, I was not offered an opportunity to review my stay and I tried to several times. Firstly, the air conditioning was not working property and they had to bring in a fan which only pushed warm air around. I complained and asked for a room change and they told me all the rooms are that way (warm). I then asked to be upgraded to the Novotel section and even though I was willing to pay for the upgrade, the staff member told me that the Novotel was a different hotel, not partnered with the IBIS and that I could not get a room. Secondly, the room was very stuffy and smelt as such as one could not open a window for fresh air. Thirdly, there is a 3 inch rise/step into the washroom where I stubbed my toe several times. Fourthly, the room entry plate and the shower drain cover came off and required repair. Finally, breakfast consisted of watered down eggs, wieners and low quality pork sausages. When I went by the breakfast being served at the Novotel section, I noticed, omelets being made, choice of eggs (fried) with many high quality fixings. The dinners eaten at the Novotel section were amazing. So my advise, do not get a room at the IBIS section and stay in the Novotel at this hotel. Alicja Golon, Guest Services / Front Office at ibis Wroclaw Centrum, responded to this review Dear Kokes,Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations and appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few important points.Hotel ibis and hotel Novotel, although located within the same building complex, are two separate hotels with distinct standards and offerings. Novotel operates as a 4-star hotel, while ibis is a 3-star property, which naturally results in differences in room equipment, breakfast variety, and overall service level.Guests staying at ibis do have the option to purchase breakfast at Novotel, and subject to availability, it is also possible to upgrade to a Novotel room by paying the daily rate difference. We’re sorry if this was not clearly communicated during your stay.Regarding the air conditioning and room conditions — we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We would be happy to investigate the issue further, but unfortunately, we are unable to identify the exact room or dates of your stay based on the review alone. We kindly invite you to contact us via email (HA073-GR@accor.com) so we can better understand the situation and ensure your concerns are addressed. We truly value your feedback and hope you will consider reaching out to us directly. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable and transparent experience for every guest. All the best,Alicja GolonGuest Experience Manager

    Great stay

    rating28 Sept 2025

We had a great 2 night stay, room and amenities like new and very comfortable, staff was excellent at recommending restaurants, very friendly and breakfast was good. Location perfect for train station and walking to old town, tram stop across the street. There is construction site all around but no noise during evening or morning, did not bother us at all. A great stay.

    rating18 Jul 2025

This is the best Ibis hotel we have stayed in. The rooms are modern, well-maintained and comfortable. We were pleased to see that in-room tea and coffee facilities were available. The breakfast was great - lots of variety and it was quickly replenished. At the weekend it is also possible to have eggs and omelettes cooked to order at no extra charge by Maciej who did a great job. Guests are even given cookies to take away! The staff were friendly and welcoming - in particular Bartosz at breakfast. The location is also very convenient being a ten minute walk from the main railway station and the old town and in the other direction Aldi is also a ten minute walk. Wroclaw is a lovely city. We had a great stay, Thanks to all the staff who worked hard to make sure that our stay was enjoyable.
