Very good despite cigarette smoke smell

Stayed 2 nights here during Christmas Eve and day .. We were at the residence wing, and have the corner unit at the end of the hallway. Big room with a balcony overseeing the mountain. So it was a beautiful white Christmas. The room is great. Dinner for Christmas was a huge buffet spread. Crowded as expected but nice nevertheless. Maybe because of the flooring, you can hear quite a bit of footsteps in the night. There wa also quite a bit of cigarette smoke smell coming into the room. Maybe someone next door is smoking. That was rather unpleasant . But the room and hotel is very good so I stick to the 5 stars. Overall the hotel is fine, everything works and is beautiful. Only the wear and tear of the floor in the room and restaurant is visible. Also, there could be free parking. Extremely Disappointing Stay – Quality Has Dropped Dramatically

We’ve stayed at Radisson Blu Zakopane several times before and even brought friends here last Christmas, but this last stay was absolutely shocking. The overall quality of the property has fallen dramatically, and the service was nothing like what we experienced in the past.I had booked and prepaid for breakfast for the whole stay through the hotel’s pre-arrival email, yet upon check-in the staff had no record of it. My wife and two children were denied breakfast unless they paid again, which was humiliating and unacceptable. I ended up visiting the reception again for the same issue and pay and even then, the team refused to issue an invoice – something that is required by Polish law. Despite repeated promises and even one from a specific receptionist, the refund never happened.Almost every request during the stay was ignored or mishandled. The flowers I ordered were missing, the pool smelled strongly of urine, one part of the jacuzzi was closed, and the bathroom and curtains were visibly dirty. The shower head was broken, dinner options were poor, and the staff were unhelpful and uninterested in solving any problems. Even the parking gate didn’t open properly despite payment made for the whole stay on arrival.I understand how hotel operations work and what we experienced here was a complete collapse of service standards and guest care.I also reached out to management afterward and received only a generic response promising to “look into it,” but no follow-up or actual solution ever came.This used to be a wonderful place, but sadly, I can no longer recommend it. Our stay was exhausting, frustrating, and nothing close to Radisson standards. I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere until serious improvements are made.
