An oasis in the busy tourist season

    rating26 Sept 2026

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outdoor courtyard a picture of tranquility, and the breakfast is excellent. Above all, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and will go out of their way to help. The location is perfect as it is a quiet part of the city away from, but within easy walking distance of the main tourist spots. We are vegetarian and were well served by the buffet breakfast and dinner menu; we also discovered a lovely new restaurant, Veggieterraneo, just five minutes walk away. We will definitely be staying at the Albergaria when we visit again.

    Excellent choice for a stay

    rating23 Sept 2026

The room was very nice and large. Perfect location. The parking garage was very nice to have available. We had the charcuterie and wine in the evening and it was a nice addition to a great stay. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Nice to start the day off. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

    Wonderful stay in Evora!

    rating18 Aug 2026

Our family of four (Me 55, W56, S25, S21) visited in mid-July and had a wonderful stay for two nights. The location is fantastic just inside the walls of Evora and was convenient for walking to dinner both nights and to generally explore the area. The staff was friendly and helpful and the small bar in the lobby was a nice touch for a late night apertif following dinner. Breakfast was presented well and it was great to be able to enjoy it in the courtyard.
