Management doesn't care.
21 Sept 2026
Booked two superior double rooms with friends. One was located in the main part of the hotel; the other was on the second floor. There was no air conditioning. This was the same experience I had in August of 2025. I asked that the manager contact me and he/she never did. It was 36°C out during the day and it made for a very poor sleep. As this was the second time that it happened, I am losing my patience/tolerance for this hotel.

Great overnight stay.

Wonderful stay, room 320, but no plugs available for the bath or sink. Reception said they don't have them! Will have to bring our own next time. Good buffet breakfast. Choice of seating inside or out.

Cold, noisily, cold and downbeat hotel.
31 Mar 2026
Old, downbeat, cold and not up to the standards of a 4 star hotel.Very noisy, don't expect to have a nice night sleep as you can hear everything in the next rooms including very noisy water pipes and flushing.Very disappointing stay in what is supposed to be a 4 star hotel (it's not, it's 3 star at most).

Character stay
11 Dec 2025
Excellent hotel situated on the edge of the town centre amongst old fort walls, a couple of minutes walk into the centre. It’s a fascinating old convent building and our room, although a bit bijou, had loads of character, spotlessly clean, all mod cons and an amazing picturesque view of the countryside from the balcony. Lovely bathroom, although after running a bath I pressed the button for the jacuzzi and discovered it didn’t work! That was my only disappointment. Nice bar for a drink. Parking behind the hotel. Friendly, professional staff.
