  Excellent staff and hotel

  Wonder break in this hotel. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. They really go above and beyond to help. Great big room on the first floor is worth paying a little extra for. Very comfy bar with views of the aqueduct. Location was ideal, we were able to walk everywhere. I used the indoor pool which was spotless. There is a beautiful outdoor pool too but weather was a little cool to use it. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.   What a super hotel. Location was fabulous and walking distance to all great historic sites to be seen. Staff were exceptional including Miguel at reception who spoke perfect English and was so polite and helpful marking out restaurants and places of interest on a map which was so helpful. Rooms were so comfortable and spacious and great variety for breakfast also. Couldn’t fault the hotel and great value for money also. 5 stars in all respects.   A really good hotel clean and well located, within walking distance to everything.The rooms are spacious and clean. There’s an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, a fun spa area including a sauna, heated pool, and jacuzzi.The staff provided very friendly service.There’s a fun rooftop bar.We really enjoyed our stay.The breakfast was tasty, though there were no vegetables.   This is NOT a good hotel!

  A/C didn't work properly, bathroom door would not close, and the room was small and dingy. The hotel felt like a rundown place. It was going through renovation which added to the run-down feel of the hotel. Our tour bus could not come to the front door, we had to walk 5 minutes from the road. Avoid this hotel if you can!

  We had a number of issuesOur suite was rather tired and in need of some maintenance. Wall light didn’t work bathroom door lock broken. There was no WiFi and despite the best efforts of the staff and several visits throughout the afternoon and early evening it could not be fixed. We were offered an alternative room but at 9.45 we just couldn’t face moving. Prior to arrival I requested a teapot and on arrival a jug of cold fresh milk. When the milk arrived I noticed it was UHT and there was no teapot. I asked for fresh milk and the teapot. I was asked to sign a bill for €7 this was €2 for milk and €5 for delivery. I agreed to sign as I didn’t want to give the room service guy a problem. I did however mention to reception I thought it was unreasonable. We had a terrible nights sleep as the small road outside the hotel was very busy both with cars and noisy pedestrians until very late. The main road appears to be verybusy and noisy all night. On leaving I was informed the boss had authorised removing the €7 fromour bill!! All the staff were lovely, polite and helpful. I doubt we will be staying again. With a rack Rate for a palace suite of over €200 it’s simply not worth it.
