  Great hotel with pool located right in the centre.

  We stayed at the hotel for two nights in room 225 which overlooked the gardens and city wall. Our room was very spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed.The room was equipped with aircon fridge and hair dryer. There was an aircon unit which didn’t really work to cool the room. We reported this and they explained they had just been switched over from warm to cool settings and would have it checked.Overall the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast which had a fair choice of continental as well as scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. The hotel has a large outdoor pool (not heated) located in the rear gardens. The hotel also has secure below ground parking. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

  After a long, long day of traveling, being tired, and miserable, I entered a very spacious room, with everything I need to be comfortable. All the things that they have cut in other hotels, they have not done it here. Comfortable, beautiful, clean. It was worth all the misery of a long rainy day. Dont stay anywhere else.

  We were very surprised how dumpy this hotel was compared to the website. The staff were also grumpy. It wasn’t all bad. The bed was comfortable and it’s just a few minutes to the sites.

  Stayed here for 1 night while in town. It was very nice. Big room. it was located within the city walls and had beautiful grounds. We had a buffet dinner at night which was pretty good and the breakfast the next morning was excellent as well.

  Location near the walls of the old town was great. We could walk to the sights, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Great breakfast! And peacocks in the yard!
