  Absolutely breathtaking location The Água vila we stayed In was stunning Very spacious comfortable and the decor was beautiful. Very large property so get ready to get your steps in!   I originally wrote a 5* review for my stay but customer service since has been shocking. On the Saturday I was told a holding deposit of 400euros made at check in would be returned within 24 hours and 6 days later it has not been returned and is still marked as pending. I have emailed and messaged via the app 3 times and no one has replied. I was only at the hotel for 1 night and used nothing, so it’s simply a matter of the hotel on their end removing it from pending. I have now spoken to my bank in the UK about this matter.   Absolutely loved our stay here, stunning villa and scenery, very clean, relaxing and lovely food at the restaurant, wonderful staff.   A/C broken - management couldn’t care less!

  We recently stayed at the Pestana Troia Eco-Resort and Residences had a significant problem with the air conditioning units in three rooms in the apartment. which the resort technicians were unable to repair unfortunately. As a result, the bedrooms were far too hot during the night, so we had extremely poor quality sleep on both nights we stayed there. I subsequently emailed Carolina, the resort manager, twice but she didn’t bother to respond. Frustrating that a large and prestigious hotel chain like Pestana clearly don’t care about their guests’ experiences. Really disappointing as the apartment was otherwise pretty good.   You cannot truly experience Troia without having stayed at Pestana Troia Eco Resort! I had the opportunity to stay here with a group of friends and our experience was amazing. Because we were a big group, we had different villas, all of them incredible. My villa was at ground level and we had an amazing pool, view for the dunes and a sense of tranquillity.The bed as extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby.Another highlight was our lunch at the property restaurant, Moana, which is something not to miss out! The food is delicious and the view is even better.The staff was super kind and made sure we had everything we need thought the whole stay.I cannot wait to came back!
