This historical hotel is located in the heart of the historical centre of Evora, a city classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Templo Romano de Diana roman temple, Igreja dos Lóios church, the gothic cathedral, the city walls and Saint Francis Church are all within walking distance. Lisbon Portela Airport is approximately 130 km from the hotel.

The hotel has 5 suites and 31 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     Incredible converted convent in spectacular location-- walking distance to many restaurants/ museum/ cathedral and parks. Beautiful restored building with so much character. Spacious room. Great breakfast and dinner. Lovely pool area.Very friendly professional staff. Unique, very special and the team made it feel like home. Thank you so much

    your staff are brilliant, helpful, friendly and kind. I do wonder if you have enough of them. The pool are and bar is a great area to relax.The building might be old but it us beautiful and full of character.Breakfast is excellent so nice - omelette were very tasty.Room 101 is a superb place to stay im, spacious and comfortable. Our one negative in the room was the appearance of some ants on our last night. In particular in our bed.....but not many and they did not detract from our stay.There are lots of steps in the hotel, I use a stick but there was no problem getting around slowly (for me)Thankyou for providing a great hotel

    This was a gorgeous place to stay. In the centre of the town with a view of the Roman temple from our window. Gorgeous room with old world charm. Restaurant was great, accommodating to gluten free, and the staff were friendly and so welcoming.     Old world charm with great personnel

    The location is exceptional and the personnel were phenomenal. The old world charm made this the perfect place for us to stay. Just be aware that this is an older facility and the storage in your room will be limited so expect to have to juggle a few things. If anything isnt to your liking, ask the staff. They’re awesome.     A beautiful historic stay in the heart of Évora

    We absolutely loved our stay at Pousada Convento de Évora. The building is truly special, full of history and character, and staying in such a beautiful former convent made the experience feel unique.The location is excellent for exploring Évora, while the lovely pool was perfect for cooling down during the summer heat.The staff and management were fantastic throughout our stay. Teresa and the whole team were warm, helpful and attentive, and their excellent restaurant recommendations made our visit even more enjoyable.We were genuinely sad to leave and would happily return. Five stars, and hopefully we will be back.
