  Terrible. Rooms shabby. No Wi-Fi access from the room and despite reporting it personally to the front desk on 3 occasions and by email to Customer Service, nothing was done. No apologies, no attempt to solve the issue. Never received feed back. After a week, still had no WiFi. General service is slow and not customer focused. Furniture in rooms is cheap and uncomfortable. Bed mattress extremely uncomfortable with unhygienic mattress cover. Eating in - and out - in Tróia is expensive for below average quality. Stay in Setubal!

  The property was a total letdown. The rooms were old and run down and nothing like the pictures. The fridge had no light and the shelves were dirty.The pool way broken so therefore not heated. Both indoor and outdoor pools were dirty and honestly did not look hygienic to swim in. The jacuzzi was not working, the gym was cold, and although we were told on arrival the kids place would be running it appears it wasn’t.Breakfast was mediocr, my daughter picked up some bread from the buffet and it was hard and stale on one side - I expect better from a 4 star hotel.. though, to be fair I wouldn’t even give it 1 star.The lady at reception was very sweet and helpful and they did their best to resolve our refund. The staff also acknowledged the terrible state of the hotel… it is as if the company have just forgotten it and left it to rot.A shame as the website made it look so nice… unfortunately the website is a total sham.Needless to say we will never go back, and I do not recommend anyone staying there.

  Great place with some room for improvement

  Great place , room for improvement. Great location , the studio was great and clean, breakfast was very good.The experience on the Italian restaurant was terrible , our order was forgotten and they did not had the courage to say until confronted . Guests on other tables that arrived after us were served before and the staff couldn’t realize it until we called their attention.The food is average and although the staff is nice and kind they don’t seem to have the necessary training and experience .An area to pay attention and to improve is the smell and cleanness of the public bathrooms close to lobby .

  a clean and tidy room, comfortable, two toilets, view to the sea where we could see the dolphins. We had a living room and the best things was the enormous balcony. It was a midium sized room. We didn't have a bath tub and we asked for a bunk bed and a double bed but instead of the double bed they gave us 2 indvidual beds that we had to put together. Free wifi and air conditioning

  Roof leaked and flooded lobby outside the restaurant.Room smelt of damp / wet towels.No tea or coffee in the roomSink in the kitchen smelt awfulFridge door hinge banged every time it was openedFridge was very noisy meaning it was difficult to sleepBed was split into two singles so was impossible to use the full bed as would move apart and the bedding was tucked in so tight as separate beds.There was a suspicious stain on the grey bed topper. Bathroom had a large piece of tile which has been glued back on the wall which was had a dirty stain around itHand towel rail is hanging off the wallPower socket hanging off the wall by the bathroom Bottom draw was difficult to open and scraped on the frame.Wardrobe smelt musty!The patio doors do not seal so can here and feel the wind.Breakfast beans we hard. Pastries were over cooked on (21st) Only small plates available.Coffee did not dispense decaff with milk it was just milk.Coffee machine did not dispense clean water it was pale brown.There is limited outside lighting and the paths and entrances from the rear are very uneven and potential trip hazard. Waited in the queue to check out had been next in line for some time, however was ignored and instead the male receptionist served someone who had just arrived. Number of the outdoor sun loungers were broken and were not adjustableButton Panel in the lift was lose.
