Brilliant holiday - We will return.

    rating31 May 2026

We stayed here 15th -22nd May and had the best time. We werent able to check in when we got there but the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags and we were given towel cards and our wrist bands so we could enjoy the pool and get drinks while we waited. They called when room was ready. I have been to this area years ago and its in such a nice location. Short walk down to the beach and shops really local. This hotel had everything we wanted/needed. All the staff from front desk, bar staff and restaurant staff we just so nice. The food was lovely. It was a lot of the same foods every night but I dont mind that if its nice. Plenty of option with food. Rooms were very spacious and cleaned daily. My only issue with the room was the amount of birds nests we had on the balcony which meant there was a lot of droppings. I understand though as they are protected birds and cant be moved. Maybe a heads up may have been nice. The entertainment was great there was activities going on round the pool and there was entertainment every night. Loved the kahoot quizzes. Everyone got involved with them. All round we had a great stay and will 100% be back. Also we visited zoomarine which was a 25 minute drive, I would recommend using user while there as it was cheap travel.

9 nights - wish we had longer

    rating31 May 2026

We have just returned from a nine night stay at Clube Humbria and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. We were fortunate that our room was ready when we checked in just before midday so after travelling we were able to head straight up and get settled. The first thing we noticed was how clean the room was. Throughout our stay we saw staff cleaning around the hotel every morning and it really showed. The entire resort was spotless, well maintained and presented to a very high standard. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day.The room itself was huge compared to other family rooms we've stayed in. It was more like an apartment with two good sized pull out sofa beds for the kids in the living area and a large double bed for us in the separate bedroom. There was air conditioning in both rooms and everyone slept really well throughout the holiday. Our balcony overlooked the pool with the slides and it was lovely to sit out there with a book and relax at any time of the day.The food was excellent with plenty of choice for everyone and a great selection of meats, salads and other dishes. We found we could have something different at both lunch and dinner every day. That said, whenever the sushi was available it was hard to resist eating anything else! We preferred sitting outside for most meals and never struggled to find a table. My only criticism of the dining experience was the buffet layout which often led to queues forming. There was always a bottleneck around the sushi station (or whatever else was there) and the table opposite. I think the buffet could be laid out more efficiently. I've seen some reviews complaining about children making a mess in the restaurant but if you're booking a family resort you should definitely expect there to be lots of children around! The vast majority of pushchairs were left outside the restaurant and very few were brought inside (mostly SEND kids as far as I saw).I've also read reviews complaining about the temperature of the pools. This is to be expected in May (or earlier in the season). Once you got in you quickly got used to it and the water definitely seemed to warm up towards the end of May. We were given four towel tokens at the start of our holiday which meant we could collect fresh pool towels every day.My eldest child absolutely loved the slides. Unfortunately our youngest was under the 20kg weight limit and wasn't allowed to use them which was very disappointing for her. I missed this fact when booking. I'm not entirely sure why as she's been able to use similar slides at other resorts. She's simply quite small for her age.The bars were great. We're not massive drinkers but there was always something we enjoyed and the kids loved having access to ice cream, slushies and ice pops whenever they wanted... after all, they're on holiday! I also thought the automatic cocktail machines were a brilliant idea as they helped keep queues moving. Our children didn't really take to the younger kids club and found it a little boring so they only attended a few sessions. The evening entertainment was very good. The kids disco every night was a big hit followed by the quiz which we all enjoyed as a family. The only thing I would say about the mini disco is that there were too many adults on the dance floor. I completely understand that some children, particularly those with additional needs, may require an adult with them. However there were quite a few adults holding babies or very young children and getting in the way of the children who were dancing independently. I think this could be managed a little better. The 33LM band were fantastic and performed on several nights during our stay. We especially enjoyed their 80s night. The White Party was another highlight with loads of adults and children on the dance floor surrounded by balloons. We also thoroughly enjoyed the circus show. All of the staff were lovely ... friendly, helpful and always approachable. The entertainment team in particular were brilliant around the pool and during the mini discos. Their enthusiasm really got the children involved. If you're travelling as a family I would highly recommend 3HB Clube Humbria. Having read some of the more negative reviews I would simply say that if you're retired and looking for a quiet, child-free environment this probably isn't the resort for you. This is very much a family-focused hotel and it does that exceptionally well.

    Superb Hotel- Full review Below

    rating27 May 2026

Just returned from 1 week here with our 8 year old boy and we all had a fantastic time. Here are some points around what helps me when choosing hotels, hopefully they will help you too.HOTEL- Roughly 30-45 mins transfer (via Jet2) quick check in, we were given our room at 12 noon on arrival despite ch dm on being around 3pm. Immaculately well kept and we’ll set out with no high rise buildings, gardeners cleaning all day every day, room was cleaned every day and fresh towels left. No need to take your own as they issue you with cards to swap at the pool hut for fresh swimming towels daily. Location is around 5-10 minute walk to 2 lovely beaches and 2 mins walk to leads of bars and restaurants and supermarkets if needed.ROOMS- Massive for a resort like this, Living Room with large pull out single beds with a TV for the kids, small kitchen with kettle, microwave, Hob and fridge freezer, large bedroom (separate for parents who want privacy) with double bed and a wall mounted TV, I took my fire stick and plugged in and we had Netflix in bed! Free WI-FI was really fast for us and never had any issues at all on any device. Large bathroom with a shower over a 3/4 bath. It also has a large full length balcony with chairs.FOOD- Exceptional! We never book all inclusive in Europe, only ever in the Caribbean but this was a massive positive, constantly cooked fresh fish, chicken, steak via open cooking stations, Eggs in the morning amongst all kinds of lovely options every single meal time, drinks are self service from coffee, fresh juices, beer, water or wine and never a queue. We had every intention of going out to eat some nights but found the food of that good quality it wasn’t worth the bother. They serve Ice-pops all day at the pool bar aswell as ice creams etc and also there is a small fast food hatch that serves Fries, wraps, pizza, Burgers, salads, toasties, hot dogs etc all afternoon until midnight so you can always get something if needed. POOLS/WATERPARK- this was one of the reasons I booked this hotel thinking it would give my wife and I some peace during the day and it DEFINITELY did, The waterpark was a hit! It’s enclosed with a lifeguard so everybody is safe and cannot run off, there is loads of shade and sun beds where you can happily sit back all day and watch you’re kids safely, we ended up spending quite a bit of time here as our lad made friends quickly and they spent all day playing on the slides, there are clean toilets on site aswell as an on-site self service cold drinks station. The main pool is also lovely and clean with lots of sun beds, some round the pool and a lot on the nice grass banks. We went on May 20th and the weather was superb ranging from 27/28 on the first day or 2 and then into the 30’s for the last few days, the pool were mainly full of kids who were loving it but it was chilly when first getting in but was fine after a few seconds. ENTERTAINMENT- As expected it starts with a kids disco around 8, then onto an adults interactive quiz where you can use you’re phone/ipad and then a variety of live acts, overall or was really good and kept everyone entertained, during the day there is always something going on for adults and kids, I did a few fun games from Darts, Sliders, Archery etc and they were were really fun, the Animation team work really hard and are great with everyone. OVERALL- Exceptional for the money, considering it’s only a 2 and a half hour flight from Manchester you feel like you could be anywhere in the world when on the Hotel grounds, the All Inclusive was one of the highlights, if you get the opportunity to go to this hotel then take it, it’s well worth it, we will definitely return.

    The most amazing time!

    rating26 May 2026

We stayed here for a week in early May and had the most fantastic time! The staff are amazing and work incredibly hard, my son particularly loved the guy who did the aqua dance at the pool, he was such fun! You could never go hungry, there was food available throughout the day, my kids loved the snack bar... In particular the hamburger! Food in the restaurant was fab and there was always plenty of choice, the restaurant can get busy but it wouldn't put me off.Hotel was spotless and staff were constantly cleaning! We had the best time and are looking to book again for next year. Thanks for a fab holiday!

    Fantastic staff made our trip!

    rating26 May 2026

Just got back from a week at 3HB Humbria and honestly, this was our best family trip yet. The Facilities are good, the food is good (with sufficient variety- even for some fussy eating children), but this place is made by the staff. They make such an effort to get everyone involved and learn everyone's names, etc that it's hard to be unhappy there. The entertainment team especially are fantastic! Very engaging and clearly love their jobs! We are not the most boisterous family and we are fairly reserved generally, but they made the effort to involve us in the dancing and games which really went a long way to make us feel comfortable. The pools were cold as per other reviews, but it was welcome in the afternoons when it became very hot. Between us we have only come away with one negative and that was for me as the beer was very flat constantly. At times it was undrinkable. However, that is one small negative for what was a great first experience in Portugal. Would happily recommend and definitely would go back.
