    It's absolutely one of the nicest places we have been to. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the double rooms both with ensuite are very spacious, with a beautiful modern kitchen.The staff were incredibly helpful (especially Joseph) who is fluent in many languages. He's fantastic with children and (our grandson Zacharia adored him).Breakfast in the morning was lovely with great variety. 15 minutes walk to the beautiful beach, and 15 minutes walk into the town, a beautiful and quiet place to relax with family and friends, 100% would recommend this beautiful hotel.

    Booked an early sunny getaway for we two oaps through Hays. After a journey of 9 hours, door to door, and all the nonsense that is Faro passport control, we arrived at Vila Branca, very tired and hot, expecting an average hotel and room as we didn't pay too much. My, were we wrong ! This hotel is absolutely excellent on all departments - all the staff are friendly, well turned out, helpful and respectful. The " room" was more of an apartment, with a large lounge with sofa, a well equipped kitchen and fantastic bathroom. The grounds and pool are in good order and the town of Lagos is delightful. We aren't well off pensioners, but this holiday and hotel made us feel as if we were. If you fancy a really great hotel stay which won't break the bank, come to the Vila Branca in Lagos, Portugal - you won't regret it !     Lovely spacious apartments in Lagos

    Lovely 2 bed apartment very spacious and clean with 2 bathrooms one being en suite. Pool was a little cold but kids didn't mind it. All utensils were provided. Good kitchen with oven and hob and large fridge freezer. Not far of a drive to various beaches and 5 mins drive to the Intermarche supermarket and 10 mins to Lagos centre. Would stay again.     Was advised all rooms use thermal accumulators for hot water Ran out of hot water during second shower while wife was washing hair !Unacceptable ! No apologies and no solution provided !Asked for room change but they declined !Very disappointed !
