  Lovely complex, shame the website is dated and lets it down really.

  So a quick summary,Booked via the Alto website, how they get booking is very dated but it works.Pictures are tiny and no information on which apartment is where on a map, some people like to know apartment location and better pictures of the view they’re getting.No information on WIFI in apartment but I worked it out , same with dishwasher/tv / washing machine etc (you get the picture) but that said it’s a lovely complex and all the staff were professional and curious at all times,Pool area lovely and restaurant onsite is really nice.Been to Alvor loads of times , first time here and I’d really like to come back here, maybe I’ll try to get a top floor apartment as the guests above seems to not be able to resist scraping chairs late at night and early morning (why do people do that)Totally recommend Oh there’s a (sort of) timeshare building onsite I’d have been really interested in getting involved but literally no information buying anywhere, totally the opposite of the usual timeshares so perhaps they do t need the custom as it’s such a nice place .

  A dreamy stay!

  From start to finish we have had the most wonderful stay in Alto club apartment 37G. It was perfectly located, with everything you could wish for in an apartment. Fully furnished, very spacious; and the most comfortable beds! The owner has been the ultimate pleasure to deal with and we look forward to booking again soon. Alto club complex is a dream to stay in, so easily located for beach or the village. Indoor and outdoor pools are really lovely.

  apartment 37G to be avoided

  We have recently returned from staying in a private apartment 37G at Alto Club in Alvor and we have to tell you how disappointed we were at the standard of accommodation.Apart from the towels, (which, by the way, should have been binned a long time ago) there were a number of other issues;1. Cleanliness was extremely poor with apparently no cleaning including in the changeover. The apartment was filthy indoors and out. For example, skirting boards full of dust and grime, walls, cupboards, and mirrors needed a thorough clean, blinds in the kitchen badly stained, the electric radiators, although we did not need them, look like they should not be used along with the rusty fan in the lounge. Tiles in bathroom were cracked and the shower was pathetic. The headboards on the beds were stained and damaged and smelt mouldy. Under the kitchen cupboard was stained and greasy.2. The cupboards were filled with left over food from previous guest, much of it out of date.3. The oven and extractor hood did not work so we could not make anything hot and the toaster was a whole new level of filth.4. Bed linen and blankets again have seen better days, smelt mouldy, and need replacing (blankets these days tend not be used as they cannot be laundered between guests. The lounge furniture was rusty soft furnishings stained and dirty5. The sun lounger mattresses where stained and extremely dirty and had holes in them.6. The fly screens had holes which resulted in an invasion of small flies for which we had to purchase insect killer.7. The apartment, as a whole, was in dire need of redecoration and refit.8. There was no internet or air conditioning.we have to say that we booked this direct with the owner and it doesn't reflect the standard on the rest of the site were we have stayed previously and will do in the future.we contacted the owner and have yet to receive a reply or even an acknowledgement

  Wonderful place to stay. Close to all the great Restaurants, Arugula stands out for me along with the Steak house and the Chinese ! With the complex you have dedicated beds on the beautiful beach 🏖️ Looking forward to my next visit

  A very clean, well maintained resort with wonderful staff managed by Monica. Well maintained landscaping. Great location within walking distance of numerous restaurants and pubs. On site restaurant, Thyme, very good
