Location

The property is located in the village of Alvor and enjoys an enviable location, 10 minutes’ walk from the historical centre, the beaches of Alvor and golf courses. It also enjoys a privileged location near the Bay of Alvor with its restaurants and bars, the commercial area and the marina of Portimão. The Museum of Portimão is about 5 km away. Faro airport is about 65 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 402 apartments. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and adjustable central heating. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. The bathrooms have a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. For additional convenience, bathrooms also provide a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Water sports available at the hotel include windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and hydrotherapy treatments and, for an additional fee, a sauna and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The hotel also offers snacks. The apartment hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Unbelievable 11 days. Animation team made the holiday, always full of energy, professional and great with the children throughout the day. Lots of options for food for all ages. Bar staff always friendly and hard working with good choice of drinks. Rooms always cleaned. Shuttle to the beach was easy to use and lovely beach with the caves to explore. 10 minutes walk into town.

    Just got back from this resort. I must say we were worried about some of the negative reviews. So, from the get go; our room had a kettle, and we were delivered a 1.5 litre of bottled water each day. Room very clean, well furnished and free air con. Yes, the beds are two singles pushed together, but are very comfortable.Food and drinks: Yes, a bit repetitive and bland, but you can always go to Green room, where the kids menu is often more homely from the standard offered fare. Both dining rooms can get very loud. Drinks are all local brands, but they do the job. All bars offer fresh ground coffee from 10 til midnight.Facilities: Pool is not heated. Most non-pool activities aimed at teenagers, and only last 20-30 minutes. And, talking about pool, there is no pool table!Atmosphere: Lots of polite conversation. Piped muzak, mostly in english. Not the drunken revelry and constant disco/rock/pop like you would get at a 4* All inclusive in Majorca. So, definitely a four-star resort, but probably not worth the 1700 quid we paid EasyJet for a non-school holiday week in May for a couple. There is no Rep on site if you book with Easyjet (unlike Jet2)

    After reading reviews I was a little worried prior to our holiday but really had nothing to worry about. The hotel is clean , the staff are friendly and the food is fine. I appreciate the food can be a bit repetitive but I fully expect that at an all inclusive. I went for a week with my husband and 3 year old daughter , we are not the type to get involved in entertainment so didn’t really take note of what was going on for adults but my daughter enjoyed the disco , it is only 20-30 mins long at 8:30 at night which at home would be too late but we were on holiday so she stayed up and for a 3 year old 20-30 mins dance at the end of the day is totally fine. The pool is huge , the play area is great , there is a large selection of food at meal times. We didn’t really snack as we weren’t hungry in between meal times. It’s a nice walk to alvor , not far at all. We used the bus to the beach once which is a great service but chose to walk most of the time to get some steps in! We are out a few times , there is a great selection of restaurants in alvor. Overall we enjoyed our holiday. I wouldn’t normally write a review but felt I wanted to due to some of the reviews making me nervous about visiting.

    I'm currently writing this whilst sat in my hotel room after having to buy some milk and cereal from the supermarket for dinner. Yes, the food is that bad. It's the same stuff every night with maybe one change of a questionable slab of dry meat. I can't fault the cleanliness of the hotel and the pool, that's great.There's no snacks available during the day as the snack bar is only open at certain times and serves stale rice crackers and some biscuits, there was some burgers when we visited once but you're not allowed to get those yourself. The location isn't the best but Ubers are cheap enough to get around.There's practically no entertainment, you might get given a sheet of paper and a pen to join in a quiz but the rest of the time the entertainment staff are just walking around. The excuse TUI gave for this is "it's out of season", fine but don't employ all the entertainment team to do nothing then.I can't wrap my head around how this hotel has 4 stars. Honestly for the price you pay to stay here find a different hotel.

    Location is great a nice stroll in to Alvor daily and surrounding areas via uber and local buses.Great Check in and gained early access to room was a good bonus as had been travelling from early am.Didn’t really see any entertainment for adults advertised or see any in the evening.Food very repetitive but as most all inclusive places seem to find it’s across the board and what we did have was very bland.Rooms are great and spacious but did find it strange not to have an iron or a kettle. The downside for me personally was we was on the ground floor and I heard everybody going in and out of rooms doors slamming and also the smell of smoke coming from rooms was not great at all personally.Atmosphere felt a bit off not really any enragement from staff or any body else staying here . Plenty of sun loungers and chairs readily available. Pool bar quite good busy as expected.Value wise price point I’d say it’s about right 4* star rating I’d personally say 3 at a push.
