  This hotel is right at the marina. Beautiful, convenient location, central to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to faro train station approx a 15mins walk. Bus station (Alsa Bus) to Spain was just around the back of the hotel. Room was a little dated. Pillows were thin. We had a city view room but it was extremely noisy at night. On our last evening they had a group of young people screaming/singing from one of the restaurants across the road. As the night went they decided to take it to the street. It went on till midnight, which was annoying coz it was that loud that we couldn’t sleep. And we had the window closed. Then early morning I can hear the rubbish truck emptying bottles from the restaurants across the road. However breakfast was very good, decent amount of spread. They even had a pianist playing while we enjoyed our breakfast. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the marina.   Definitely not four star would not recommend

  I really hate posting negative reviews but I’m afraid I’m going to have to do in this case. The only positives is the location on the centre of Faro but Hotel is extremely dated and really does need to be refurbished. The room we stayed in the walls were filthy all needs to be repainted. It’s such a shame as it could be a really good Hotel giving the location looking over the marina. Breakfast is dreadful the worst I’ve ever had in any hotel. Cold processed. His staff most unfriendly I asked if I could have freshly cooked eggs and the chef was not happy and when I thanked them when they did, they didn’t even respond to me. We only spent two nights here thankfully as we have a wonderful five nights in a beautiful Boutique hotel In Tavira what a difference. I honestly could not recommend this Hotel please do not waste your money. Look for a nice small Boutique hotel in the area where you will treated well and appreciated.   This is the 3rd time my husband and I have been to this hotel. And once again we have had a wonderful time.Everyone from the staff at reception, the cleaners and staff in the restaurant have been friendly and eager to help. I would especially like to give a big thank you to Juliana at reception, who was very helpful both at check in and check out. (as well as everything in between.)When we arrived to celebrate a belated wedding anniversary, we were treated to fresh fruit and bubbly in our room. Twice during the week at breakfast time the ladies were given a flower, this is such a lovely gesture and certain brightens up the day.I noted from previous reviews that complaints of noise from the building Work near the hotel. could be heard HOWEVER I can honestly say that this was not the case. We never heard anything, either sitting on our balcony or beside the marina, the only time we heard anything was when we were at the bus station which was five minutes walk away from the hotel. I also noted that in previous reviews that staff were unfriendly this is definitely not the case, everyone went above and beyond for us. We were greeted every day with a smile from all staff however I’m a great believer that if you’re pleasant people are more likely to smile. The only downside from the whole week we were there was that the cooked breakfast wasn’t as hot as it could’ve been and on our last day was cold despite the fact that we were the first people into the dining room that day because we were leaving. However, there is a good choice for breakfast and also it is lovely to hear the pianist.   An incredible hotel!!!

  We booked this hotel as I was travelling for work, and from the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. After a long day of flying, I asked if it might be possible to check in early so we could freshen up before heading to work. Not only were we allowed to check in hours earlier, but we were also upgraded to a stunning room with a beautiful view.I am currently pregnant, and the staff were incredibly considerate and kind to both me and my husband, which meant so much to us. The room itself was perfect and had everything we had hoped for. It was spotless, well equipped with plenty of towels, and included a minibar and fridge which was ideal.Breakfast was included and offered a great variety of options. A lovely touch was the live pianist playing in both the restaurant during breakfast and in the lobby, which created such a relaxing atmosphere.As parents of two young children, we treated this as a little getaway for just the two of us, and we had the best sleep. The room was so peaceful and quiet, we could not hear anything from outside at all.The location is also fantastic, within walking distance to the town centre and right by the marina, offering beautiful views. The hotel also features an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and other great facilities.We also had to check out very early at 4am and assumed we would miss out on breakfast, as it does not start until 7am. However, the staff kindly offered us hot drinks, pastries, fruit, and juices while we waited for our Uber, and we were even able to take these with us to go, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture.We honestly wished we could have stayed longer, as it was such an incredible experience and absolutely worth the money.A special thank you to Juliana and her colleague who welcomed us on arrival. They were so kind, warm, and attentive. We are very grateful for their care.We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Faro.Obrigada!   Beautiful visit to Faro!

  Came here with my mum for an overnight. We were tired from the travelling, checked into the hotel and when we arrived in our room we realised one of the lights was broken. We went back down to reception and spoke to a lovely receptionist, Pedro, who was immediately helpful and apologetic. He was incredibly friendly and upgraded us to a deluxe suite for the night! The room was absolutely outstanding. A huge thank you to Pedro for being so welcoming towards us, it really made our visit so special! Thank you to Eva Senses for having such wonderful staff.
