Location

This modern hotel lies at the heart of Quarteira. It is 100 metres to the public transport system and the nearest restaurants are just a stone's throw away. The nearest beach is 1 km away and bars as well as pubs are to be found 1.5 km from the hotel.

Facility

19 apartments are available. Staffed 24 hours a day, the reception desk provides a smooth check-in/check-out service. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a car hire service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests who wish to explore the surrounding area by bike will appreciate the bicycle hire service. Bicycle storage is also available. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

    DO NOT STAY HERE. We booked to stay for me my husband and two small children through booking.com and was unavailable to get in contact with the apartments directly to find out check in times etc when I asked booking.com they said it was all fine and just to turn up. What a shock we had. Absolutely awful, so outdated, dirty, tiny, not like the pictures what so ever and not safe. It is more like staying in a caravan than a apartment. Definitely not enough space for more than two people the bed my two children was expected to sleep on was disgusting. I have attached a picture. We had fire alarms going of day 1 at 10pm and everyone congregating on the balconies, no one from the hotel was around and people tried to contact them with no answer at all. They then rang the police to come and check the reason for the alarm and get it turned off. You can imagine how difficult this was with two small Children. The fridge was leaking allOver the floor, no cleaners came in the 5 days we was there and no cleaning products or toilet roll or even bins provided. We had children from the hotel ringing our bell and running away in the middle of the night as well as very noisy neighbours. We were booked to stay for 12 days, we tried to speak to the hotel representative many times but she’s said she couldn’t speak English, we rang booking.com and they said there was nothing they can do which was shocking as I really thought booking.com vetted the places they have on their website. We had to pay to stay somewhere else when something became Available so paid for two accommodations. They took the money months previously in full and we was told we couldn’t have a refund even though they cancelled our booking.com booking and said they charged us £0 so we was unable to leave a review on there. I would hate to think another family would go through what we did. We also paid €150 deposit on arrival and they were unable to give that back in the reception they said the card machine was broke and there was nothing they could do. So out of even more money. Please do not stay here there are many places around this area for the same price that are lovely. I can’t believe this place is running. Booking.com should be taking it down immediately!!

    My mum emailed managers numerous times before our visit to arrange airport transfers with no reply. Also to increase towel changes from every 4 days to every 1-2 days. Keys to our 2 apartments were left in lights outside apartment. No ‘walk round’ of apartment however guests arrived at later dates were shown about. Towels were not changed in a 5 day period!! Apartment was not cleaned when stated it would be. My family asked multiple times for our bins to get emptied and this only happened once we physically sat our bins outside our separate rooms. On our last day, manager came to the door at 10am demanding we left asap to check out, we tried to state no one had made us aware of check out times and there was no correspondence from managers and ourselves the whole 8 days of our trip. My mum stated to the manager about lack of communication and again she stated we had to leave asap. Manager then knew we were leaving and was no where to be found to give keys back to two apartments. When finally found, my step dad once again stated we were disappointed in our stay. My mum and step dad have stayed here 3 times previous with no complaints but stated after this visit they would not return.

    Despite phonecall with manager 1 day ahead nobody there, no call, no mail, no message. Got finally key during night after calls . First appt smelly, no promised garden view, toilet did not flush. Appt 2 toilet clogged, flushing permanently, fridge ramshackle ( unusable ) ( all later improved/repared ). We had to empty the bin with USED toiletpaper into a large bin WITHOUT A LID at center of premises; flies loved it. In room lots of flies, many mosquitos ( Portugal has Dengue! ), no screens. Although occupation rate only 10 % : Backward maintenance, management not in the know, so guest = canary in coalmine. Block is within hearing distance of busy road. Beach 30 min walk.

    Second time here - everything you need.

    It was our second time here. That says it all.The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. It's a bit off the beaten track so it's quiet as can be. It's not plush or posh or fancy - just totally relaxed and terrific value for money.Less than 5 minutes walk from a proper Portuguese cafe bar which serves everything you need.6 of us ate there with drinks for under 60 Euros.Yes - I would go back. I don;t need to look for alternative pal es to stay cos this is great.

    came to visit this part of the algarve July 2015 for a last minute sun holiday. found these self catering apartments online. nice quiet area away from the hussle and bussle. apartment clean, all things u Cud need in kitchen. kitchen and living room area basic, bright bedroom with air con. nice updated modern bathroom with big shower. balcony was a nice touch which wasn't overlooked. pool area kept well maintained and clean. quiet area which was nice for relaxing and no worry about getting a sun lounger. great for lazy days in the sun if u are after peace and quiet. bbq area also available to have ur own. fair distance from beach front Arras of quarteria and vilamoura. We rented bikes from the beach front at quarteria to make it easier to get around. supermarket x2 fairly close to apartment. fun water park nearby which I'd recommend for kids and adults and if u dnt feel like going too far for a bar - there is one at a local golf resort/apartment area which has live music. overall, nothing fancy, quiet area, but good price for a cheap and cheerful holiday. vilamoura is a lovely area. would return.
