Location

Enjoying a peaceful location on a hillside, this hotel lies just 600 m from the fine sandy beach in the Praia da Luz. The tourist centre with its diverse range of shopping and entertainment venues as well as a selection of boutiques, bars and restaurants lies about 500 m from the hotel. There is a hotel shuttle bus service 5 times a day to the town centre, the beach and the hotel (complimentary). The nearest large city is Lagos, which lies approximately 7 km away and may easily be reached by making use of the public bus service, which depart from a stop just 300 m from the hotel complex.

Facility

The hotel was modernised in 2024. The hotel has 45 rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by 4 lifts. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the hotel provides various services and facilities, including a baggage storage service, a 24-hour security service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a fax machine. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests have a beautiful view of the sea from the balcony or terrace, which are included in the standard amenities of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. Plenty of active relaxation awaits guests in the pool area's 2 outdoor pools. Even in bad weather, a swim in the indoor pool is always an option. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hotel offers a variety of outdoor sports, including paddle tennis. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking and golf. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and table tennis. A spa, a sauna and a steam bath are included among the wellness options. For an additional fee, massage treatments are also available.

Meals

    A large modern hotel with beautiful swimming pools. Our room was clean, spacious and had a balcony. The restaurant food was mediocre and not at all Portuguese, for example stodgy Italian pasta and cheap ice-cream for dessert. No cups in the room to make tea, despite the presence of a kettle. Loud pop music playing throughout the hotel, both inside and outside by the swimming pools. Be aware that the hotel is half a mile uphill from the centre of the village and the beach.

    Lovely hotel. Clean, tidy, well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. The pool area is large with plenty of beds. One very large pool and a smaller one for the children. Airy and pleasant breakfast/restaurant room. Bedrooms are spacious with all the necessary facilities including a fridge and balconies with great views

    Beautiful place... Great sea views.. Great steam, sauna, gym, indoor out door pools... Indoor is heated.. Jacuzzi.. Just a lovley place in a lovely location..     Excellent friendly and helpful staff while travelling on my own as disabled person with reduced mobility. Immaculately clean. Great service.     We enjoyed a great stay. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a great ocean view. The dinner at the restaurant was great, as was the breakfast which was plentiful with good variety. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa experience and can't wait to return.
