Location

The hotel is located only 600 metres from the beautiful sandy beach of Praia da Oura (Golden Beach). It is situated on the 'Strip' with a lot of bars, restaurants and entertainment. Albufeira is 2 km from the hotel and within easy reach using the local bus service. There guests will find an abundance of shops and entertainment venues.

Facility

The hotel has 5 suites, 4 single rooms and 124 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. A hairdryer is also provided. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. A variety of activities are available at the hotel, for example cycling/mountain biking, bocce, volleyball, archery and horse riding or, for a fee, tennis and crazy golf. With canoeing and diving available, the hotel also caters to water sports enthusiasts. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, darts, bowling, squash and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. A wellness area with a spa is available at the hotel. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Dinner options include a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Won't be staying in this Hotel ever again the rudest Staff ever young girls with bad attitude Must have got to training on customer service . No hair dryer no iron no kettle in rooms it took 3 days of asking for an iron before I got it and with that it was a friend got it for me .got a lend os a hair dryer and left it back only to be left standing for 10 minutes at the desk before she even lifted her head to acknowledge I was even standing there I left the hotel fuming 😤 we paid half board and we couldn't eat the food breakfast was cold I mean cold came ut of the kitchen cold who wants to eat a cold Fri in the mornings seriously evening meal don't get me started 4 choices of set meal for the week bland is not the word for them so we ended up going out for breakfast and evening meals only good thing about it was it's in the middle of the strip and a great sports bar across from it with the nicest staff who were so friendly and helpful .definitely won't be staying there again .     Terrible Experience with Aggressive Staff MemberI’ve stayed in many hotels, but I have never experienced anything like this. While waiting in reception for my transfer, I sat quietly near a wall to charge my phone. A man who claimed to be the manager came over and aggressively shouted at me to “get up” and even told me that I was “not normal.” I ignored him at first, but he came back five minutes later to repeat the same aggressive behavior.When I calmly explained that I wasn’t doing anything wrong and was simply waiting for my transfer, he continued shouting at me in a very intimidating way. He even threatened to call the police but couldn’t give any reason when I asked what for. He then went as far as printing out a copy of my passport photo, questioning if it was me, and demanding my room number—completely unnecessary and deeply unsettling.This entire incident was witnessed by the people I was with, as well as the reception staff, who apologized for his behavior. Their reaction made it clear that this is not unusual, and another guest later confirmed they had also had a negative encounter with him. To make matters worse, it turns out he isn’t even the general manager, but only manages the bar.Overall, this man’s aggressive and unprofessional conduct completely ruined my stay and left me feeling threatened in what should have been a safe environment. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they address this serious issue with their staff.     Nightmare stay

    Rude staff the hotel was horrible from start to finish. As a non drinker I went with a group of 7 people who were all drinking buying alcohol drinks from the pool bar. I asked if they sold 00% beer and was told they did not. I went to the local shop and bought some cans thinking this would be ok as 7 guys were buying drinks at the bar. The duty manager then walked up to me without saying anything picking my 00% beer up and pored it over the flowers and walked off with no explanation ( would he have done this with a bottle of water bought from the shop). We all decided to leave and go to the beach bar for the afternoon the hotel lost out massively as we did not use it for drinks again as a group.The hotel was so noisy people letting fire extinguishers off in corridor’s etc worst hotel I’ve been to in years I dread to think what it would be like in high season!!!!
